~Sorry I haven't written anything in so long. I haven't really had any motivation but I hope this chapter is good for everyone and I hope to write a little more in the near future. Again I am not rewatching the show I am going off of memory and the wiki page so if anything is off don't worry about it too much. I also might change some things along the way. Other than that I hope you all enjoy the chapter and leave any feedback you may have in the comments . Total word count is 1560.~
'Now that I'm home I need to figure out how to ask mom and dad about the sleepover,' I thought as I put my schoolbag down and sat on my bed. Once I figured out what to ask, I went downstairs to finally about the sleepover.
"Hey sweetie! How was school today?" mom asked, being curious as ever.
"It was pretty good I guess," I said looking down at my hands, "We got out hero suits today which was pretty cool except I didn't really get to put mine to good use in the training exercise." I laughed at the end of my statement so they couldn't tell how disappointed I was.
"What do you mean Angel? I'm sure you did great today no matter what you think," I heard dad say as he got up to put a hand on my shoulder.
"I didn't even get to use my quirk because Todoroki is so strong. I'm never going to be able to beat him. How am I going to be a pro if I can't even show off my skills? I don't have a physical quirk like everyone else," I started to tear up and then dad pulled me into a hug to keep me from freaking out too much.
"Hey, not every hero has a physical ability. Mandalay and Eraserhead both have mental abilities so never doubt your potential Angel. You can do anything you set your mind on and I know that," Dad spoke those words with all his heart and all I could do was nod into the hug and calm down.
"I love seeing you two have your father daughter moments," mom spoke with a loving look on her face. This seemed like a great time to try and ask about the sleepover this weekend.
"Well, since all of that is out of the way, I wanted to ask you guys something," I said playing with my fingers again.
"Ok honey, what do you need," again with a loving smile mom made me feel like it would be okay.
"I wanted to know if I could have a sleepover this weekend with all the girls in my class," I slowly looked up after I asked hoping to see my mom's excited face.
"Oh yes! I can't wait for you to have a sleepover! How many girls are there," needless to say mom was over the moon to have a house full of girls for the weekend.
"Um yea how many girls are there Angel," Dad wasn't as excited as mom was, but he was happy I was making friends.
"In total there will be six girls plus myself as long as it's okay with both of you." I heard dad sigh but mom just kept talking about what she would need to get before the weekend came so she could be prepared for so many teenage girls.
"So, I take that as a yes then," I asked with a questionable tone. They both nodded which was all I needed to go and text the girls the good news. Once I texted the group chat of girls the details about the sleepover everyone responded almost immediately saying they couldn't wait to see my mom and couldn't wait to come to my house. 'Now all I have to do is clean my room and make sure everyone has somewhere to sleep Friday.........Maybe we should stay in the living room.' I thought looking around my room knowing there wasn't enough space for six pallets in the floor.
~Skip to the next day at school in homeroom~
As soon as I walk into class the girls crowd me and start to talk about what we are going to do at our sleepover Friday.
