Chapter 2-Hero Costumes

When I got home from my first day my mom was waiting at the door full of questions.

"Did you make it there on time? Were the people nice? Did you have any problems with your quirk? Did you make any new friends yet? Oh, do you want some tea or maybe a Danish as a snack," my mom asked all of these questions with the sweetest look on her face and I could only giggle as I took it all in.

"Mom calm down so I can answer all of your questions. Yes, I made it there on time. Yes. No. Yes, her name is Mina. Tea and a Danish would be amazing right now," as I answered her questions in order she had a loving and proud smile on her face. She then engulfed me in a tight hug that I could never escape even if I tried.

"I'm so proud of you honey. I hope you know that. Now, how about that Danish," she said as she let me go with a peck on the forehead. I smiled at her as she walked into the kitchen. I sat on the couch finally relaxing for the day. That all ended when my dad came home. All I hear is the front door bust open and him scream.

"Where is my little hero in training," I jumped and fell off the couch as he ran over apologizing for scaring me in about 4 different languages.

"It's fine dad I promise. And your 'little hero in training' is doing just fine. I got eleventh place in our quirk assessment test today," when I said that his eyes lit up.

"That's so amazing Angel! That means you must have beat people with physical abilities as well. That training with Cousin Shino must have been really helpful," he said as he spun me around.

"Yea it really was especially since our quirks are almost the same. She really helped me with my physical abilities," I said with a satisfied look on my face. At that same time mom walked in with tea and Danishes.

"Hi honey, I thought I heard you come in so I brought you tea and a Danish as well," as soon as she finished talking and set down the tray of snacks my dad engulfed her in a hug the same way he did me except he also gave her a loving kiss.

"I missed you my flower," he said as he continued to kiss all over her face.

"Ew! No public affection please," I yelled as I started to eat my Danish but then they both looked at me with an evil look in their eyes.

"Wait-," I tried to yell but before I could they both started to attack me with kisses, hugs, and tickling me wherever they could. This went on for what felt like forever but was really only five minutes. Once we all calmed down, I went upstairs to change out of my uniform and into some comfortable clothes. I put on leggings and a hoodie since nothing else is happening besides dinner.

Dinner was the same as usual with some banter going on and mom's delicious cooking. After dinner I decided to shower and go to bed since I was honestly exhausted from all of the physical activity today.

"See you guys tomorrow," I yelled from my room.

"Goodnight, love you," I heard both of them yell at the same time. I just smiled and went to bed excited for my second day at UA.

~The next morning~

*Beep Beep Beep*

'Time for school again," I thought as I got up and ready for school. I put on my uniform and decided to put my hair into a high ponytail leaving a few strands in the front. After going downstairs, I grabbed an apple and went out the door.

When I finally made it to UA, I saw Mina outside the entrance and decided to use my quirk to say hi. As soon as she heard my voice in her head, she started to look around confused. I waved from a distance and then she ran over with a look of excitement and confusion on her face.
