(reader and everyone else are freshmen)in a world where two people are attached by a thin red string. the string connected the two no matter the gender or race. some connections people did not accept as they were the same gender. some connections people accepted no matter who their soulmate was. that didn't mean people listened to the strings, some chose who they wanted and ignored the string. others followed the string as if their life depended on it.
the strings were only visible to the two people connected.
if you had told either one of them, that they would be living with their soulmate, they would laugh at you. more so if you told them that their soulmate was a girl.
neither cared for soulmates.
one came from a family where soulmates were nothing, they didn't matter.
while the other came from a family where soulmates were everything.
one had red hair and blue eyes, and too many freckles to count.
the other had y/e/c and y/h/c, many thought she was beautiful.
when the two had met, they didn't know how to feel, their soulmate was a girl.
they didn't know if it was right, but in the end the string was right.
one fell first, but the other fell harder.
it was perfect.
