Snow fell as violet walked in the snow down the road. Her headphones in her ears and her music turned up. She had dropped the whole thing with Beca and told Jesse she gave up and he won and she agreed to work with him that summer and the following summers until she graduated. She sighed softly as her music played in her ear. She looked up at the house as she neared it. She hummed softly as she entered the house. She walked into the kitchen where Beca was trying to reach something in a cabinet. Violet laughed softly and walked over and took her headphones out and reached up above Beca and grabbed what she needed. She held it to Beca who looked at her. "Your covered in snow! Did you walk all the way from campus!" Beca spoke as she took the mug from violet. "Yeah I didn't have a ride cause Jesse was still in class." She sniffled and rubbed her nose. Beca reached up and placed her hand against the girls forehead. "You are burning up Vi." She grabbed the girls hand and dragged her towards the stairs. "I'm fine becs really." She mumbled as they walked up the stairs then to her room. They entered and Beca automatically went to the girls closet and dug out warm pajamas. "Get changed." Beca spoke and left the room. Violet pulled off her boots not in the mood to argue with the older girl then began pulling off her clothes that had been soaked by the melted snow. She got dress right as Beca entered with two mugs now both steaming and sat them on the girls desk. "Hot chocolate and some music like we did when you were down my freshman year." Violet nodded and she climbed into her bed. Beca scooped up the wet clothes and walked them to the laundry basket before returning and pushing violet over and grabbed the aux cord to the small speaker in the room. "I did a new song.." violet looked at beca as the older girl lifted the mugs and held one to violet. "I want to hear it." Beca spoke and handed the the cord and violet rubbed her neck. "Okay.." she took the cord and plugged it into her phone and scrolled until she found the song. She played it and placed her phone down and drank some of the hot chocolate and let a happy sigh out. She looked at beca who seemed to be enjoying the song. Violet moved and put her mug down as Beca did the same. "This is really good vi. Maybe me teaching you was a good thing." She smiled at violet who nodded. Violet looked back at her phone and changed to a playlist they had put together. Violet leaned into Beca and they shifted so Beca was laid back and violet laid on her chest. Violet grabbed her comforter and pulled it up over them and laid cuddled into beca. It wasn't long that Beca felt her breathing level out and the girl fell asleep. She shifted and grabbed her phone from beside her and looked at the screen. Messages from Chloe asking where she was and why she wasn't at rehearsals. If she had seen violet. And if the music was done. Beca just ignored it and laid in the bed. A while passed and the door of the room opened. "They said the performance will be then. If we are having issues still keep a spot for us just in case." Chloe said into the phone as she entered her room. She stopped as she looked at the other side of the room. She walked over and looked at the bed and violet was sound asleep. Chloe placed her hand in her sisters head and violet shifted against her hand. Beca had left earlier that night before everyone got home. "She is sick." Chloe spoke and turned and looked at the door at Emily who nodded.
