3rd Person's Point of View

When the rain falls and music flows

Baekhyun sprayed his favorite perfume on his coat one last time and wore a black cap to complete his look. "It's the 309th day, Byun Baekhyun," he uttered to himself while looking at his reflection in the mirror.

I think of you

Baekhyun walked over to his picture window and took a glance outside. The sky is dark and gray; it's raining cats and dogs. Persuading Taeyeon to take him back has become his daily routine for almost a year now. He went inside his car and drove to her ex-lover's house.

The night when you left

He stopped at a red light and stared at the raging clouds. He sighed for the last time and went left to a flower shop. He bought a bouquet of petunia flowers while thinking about Taeyeon and how she loved the color purple. He took his coat off to cover the bouquet and let the rain touch his skin instead.

It was raining like this

Millions of memories flashed back in Baekhyun's mind, making his eyes go red. He's on the verge of tears, so he had to pull over and let it all out.

When the rain falls and music flows

The DJ on the radio advises in a faded tone, "I hope everyone has someone to be with at the end of this tiring day, and even though some of you don't, please let the next song I'll play touch your heart. Remember that keeping it in makes our hearts suffer but letting it all out makes it tougher. This is <End of a Day> by Jonghyun."

I think of you

Hearing his senior's song made him cry even harder. Whimpers escaped his lips as he started catching his breath. He forced himself to calm down, but he failed to.

The night when you left

A couple of minutes passed, Baekhyun's tears had dried up but the rain still hadn't stopped. He pulled himself together and started driving again. He entered the familiar neighborhood and pulled over Taeyeon's driveway. He adjusted the rearview mirror and looked at his puffy, red eyes.

It was raining like this

He grabbed the bouquet before getting out of his car. He rang the doorbell once, twice; however, no one answered. He took a glance at the door and noticed that it was unlocked. Anxiety got the best of him, so he rushed inside while holding the bouquet tightly.

Again, I stand in the rain today

His imagination ran wild, thinking a crazy fan had entered her house and harassed her. With his pounding heart, he entered Taeyeon's house silently, careful not to make sudden movements.

And let the day pass by

"I'm not taking him back, girls. It was hell for me dating him. I realized that I didn't love him. I was just in love with the thought of him," Taeyeon shrugged with no trace of sadness on her face.

Like a beautiful music

Baekhyun's heart dropped at her choice of words as he let go of the bouquet to the ground—flowers that symbolized the will to never give up and meant "If You Stay By My Side." All eight heads turned to Baekhyun with surprised expressions on them. "I had no idea you were so dismissive of my feelings for you," he barely uttered with shaky lips before he could escape the room.

Our love stories

"Baekhyun," Taeyeon called, but Baekhyun ran off without stopping.

Comes with pain just like the flowing rain

Now that Taeyeon has witnessed him cry every day, he is headstrong that she will no longer be able to see his tears. Baekhyun got in his car and departed hastily, leaving Taeyeon in the rain alone.

Thus, the rain fell painfully

As he was driving away, his tears started blurring his vision, causing him to drive off his lane. As his emotions began to overpower him, he started to pant. He looked for his phone to call his friend Chanyeol, but the last thing he could hear was a vehicle honking before everything went black.
