Steive slept for the rest of the ride, well most of it at least. When she woke up her hand was in Davids as he slowly shook her awake.

"Were hereeee," he smiled as he looked down at her half asleep self. "You know you sleep talk right?"

She jolted awake as her eyes met his, "What did I say..?" she questioned.

"Something about a note? A little about me too,"  he winked.

He opened the door slightly before giving her a small smile and getting out of the car. She sat there for a minute before rubbing her temples for a moment. Why did she have to over analyze everything? This isn't some crime scene. Well it was but not anymore, but anyways. Pix just probably forgot about the note or something like that. Nothing. Importante. She reminded herself before letting out a deep breath.

David stepped around the car and opened up her door for her. "Are you okay?" He asked to examine her face as she set down 2 of the bags.

"Im fine," She lies smiling as pushes back her hair. "Just nervous I guess."

"Makes sense..." As he picks up 2 more bags from the trunk. His questioning tone didn't go unnoticed as he started on his way to the front door of the building.

Stevie picked up the two bags he put on the ground and followed him, she looked around slightly as she took in the decor of the place. They had both been here at separate times to look at the place but this is the first time they were here together. David had already collected their keys by the time she snapped back into reality.

They made small talk in the elevator with a group of college girls that had also lived in the building. Apparently, but not surprisingly, they had heard of them. Stevie didn't miss the flirty glances given to David but she also didn't mind it much. He probably didn't even notice them.

Once they reach their floor they part ways as Stevie and David stare down the hallway for a second.

"You ready?" He asked, staring at her as she adjusted the bags in her hands.

"Ready as i'll ever be," She teased being slightly over dramatic. She wished she could grab his hand, if only these bags weren't so heavy.

There were exactly 8 doors from the elevator on the right side. She remembered because there is this huge painting right in the middle of there place and number 25.

They walked into the apartment as David set down what he was carrying, he walked over and opened the curtains as Stevie turned on the lights.

"Hey i'm gonna go shower, then we can start to unpack," Stevie suggested walking towards the bedroom.

"Sounds good," He approved plopping himself on the couch.

She put the bags down on the bed before grabbing her phone.

'I didn't clean the rooms yet, and sure didn't leave a note. I'm still not sure what you're talking about?'

Didn't clean the rooms yet?? That's impossible, stuff was new, her things were set out, hell, the room smelled clean. There's no way Pix wasn't just messing with her or something.

'Dont worry about it, have a fun last couple days of vacation, ill miss you xx' Stevie threw her phone on the bed and grabbed some clothes.

She walked in her bathroom and on the counter was a small piece of paper.  "Hello, hope you enjoy your place here, please contact us for anything wrong!"

...Okay that's not normal right?? I mean she kinda already got the Email like 2 weeks ago.

Whatever. Again not a big deal. Nothing wrong with being a little welcoming, even if it's a little weird. But not suspicious.

She shook off her clothes and jumped in the hot shower trying to get her mind off of it, though she couldn't seem to just shake the feeling that something was wrong.

"Stop those go over there" Stevie complained as David attempted to unpack their small amount of kitchen supplies. "There's like 5 things, how could you get this wrong?"

"I'm sorry I didn't know there were rules" David laughed, taking it all back out.

"Yeah it's this new thing called... organization." Stevied rolled her eyes walking away from the mess that was that kitsch right now. She would really rather not think about it.

She got to the small bag with her journal and red coat and some books. All the stuff she had left behind. She walks down the narrow hall and places the bag on the bed, along with a ton of other things they needed to sort by the end of the day.

She sat at the end of the bed and leaned back, technically she leaned back into a suitcase full of stuff but she pretended it wasn't there for a second.

Just for a second she wants to lay down and just sleep. Ugh, imagine how David feels, he didn't even get a car nap.  Poor boy. She thought, shutting her eyes.
