Nandini woke up and turned over to come face to face with the sheet that Manik had hung up the night before, quietly Nandini moved it to the side and saw Manik sleeping with his mouth open, snoring slightly. Then she slowly got up and was moving towards the washroom when she saw that Manik was sleeping diagonally and more than half his his body was hanging off the bed.
"Hay bhagwan...aise kaun sohta hai? Itna saara jagah hai phir bhi...chodo, mujhe kya." Nandini thought herself. She was about to leave him like that but then stopped. "Nahi...agar yeh gir gaya toh? Chot lag jayega na...ek kaam karti hoon, isko bistar pe ache se litah deti hoon."
Nandini went to Manik and slowly lifted his legs onto the bed and rolled him more towards the middle. All through this, Manik kept snoring and didnt even wake up.
"Kumbhkaran kahi ka.." Nandini whispered as she panted from moving Manik. She took the blankets and gently tucked Manik in nicely before going into the washroom to get ready for the day.
"Good Morning everyone!" Nandini greeted everyone at the breakfast table with a cheery smile. Aarti, Arjun, Dev and their wives greeted her back. As Nyonika came out of the kitchen, Nandini went over and hugged her. "Good morning Ma."
"Good morning Nadini beta..." Nyonika replied.
Raj was surprised to hear Nandini call Nyonika Ma while the others were happy. Nandini then turned to him.
"Good morning Uncle." Nandini hesitantly greeted Raj who just continued reading the morning paper and ignored her.
"Nandini beta.." Aarti called her. "Aaj shaam ko tere aur Mannu ki wedding reception hai, toh ache se tayyar hona."
"Ji dadi.."
"Dont worry Dadi, hum humare devrani ko ache se tayyar karwa denga." Shruti reassured Aarti.
"Kiske liye tayyar?" Manik asked as he came down with Aliya.
"Tum dono ki wedding reception ke liye." Ananya replied.
"Whatever..." Rolling his eyes, Manik sat down and quickly ate his breakfast before leaving with his brothers and father.

"Wow...kitni pyaari lag rahi ho tum!" Ananya gushed as Nandini came out of the washroom wearing a red saree.

"Yayy! Nayi chachi looks sooooooo pretty!" Tia, Arjun & Ananya's 5 year old daughter clapped seeing Nandini.
"Dekha? Tia ki bhi approval mil gayi hai! Ab chalo, hum baal bhi thik karte hai." Shruti sat Nandini down on a chair and started curling her hair while Ananya helped her put on jewelry.
"Bhabhi...yeh earrings kuch zyada mehenge nahi hai?" Nandini asked.
"Toh kya hua? Malhotra Khandaan ki sabse choti bahu ho tum....lagne bhi toh chahiye na?" Ananya replied. After she was ready, Ananya & Shruti left while Nandini nervously looked at herself in the mirror.
