New Beginnings

The fox stepped onto the grounds of UA High School, her tail lashing back and forth nervously as she stares at the entrance. Its not like she earned her way in, she was just a US transfer just like the rest of her friends. She looked back at them with a smile. It was a group of mostly girls, with a boy or two in the group. 

Maddie: A bright young girl who has darker skin and short, shaggy blonde hair. Her quirk; Psychokenisis. She has the ability to lift objects and people with her mind. The more she uses it or the bigger the object, she becomes fatigued and gets headaches.

Jess: Maddie's girlfriend. She's a short girl with short, messy brown hair. She is rather insecure about her body type, but loves that Maddie is able to give her confidence. Her quirk; Watergun. Jess has the ability to create and manipulate water from the droplets in the air, as well as manipulate bodies of water around her. This does tire her out and makes her hands feel sore after a while. 

Fawn: A short thin girl with dirty blonde hair. She has heterochromia and her face is also littered with freckles. She is also known for small horns sticking through her hair, and is often seen with at least one animal like characteristic. Her quirk; Animorph. She has the ability to morph herself and individual parts of her body into any animal of her choosing at a great expense of energy. The bigger the animal, the more energy that is taken away from her. She gets this energy back from eating foods or just in general napping, which she loves to do with her girlfriend.

Kate: Fawn's girlfriend. She is a rather tall, bulky woman with black hair and freckles. Despite her size, she's rather gentle with her girlfriend and will protect her at all costs. Her quirk; Flamethrower. She has the ability to manipulate and create flames from her hands. She can sometimes use this to propel herself through the air. While this does not hurt herself, her hair and clothing are not immune to her quirk, so her hair is kept short. 

These are the main four of the friend group. The ones who really impacted the fox's life before the transfer. Maddie gave the fox a warm smile. "Heyyy, at least something good came out of--" 

Jess grabbed Maddie's arm and shook her head. "Bad time, hon.. We don't need people here talking about it too.." 

The fox gave a smile. "Thanks, you guys, but I'll be okay. I don't think anyone here really knows about what happened back in the states. Think of this like a fresh start." Her friends smiled as they all walked into the school's entrance together, looking around in awe. 

"It's so beautiful," Fawn whispered, smiling as she held onto Kate's arm. "What class do you think we'll be put in?"

Maddie shrugged. "I have no clue how the class systems work here. It's a whole new country.." 

They giggled quietly before looking around their new environment. It was somewhat different from what they were used to. They were admittedly nervous; a whole new environment, new people. a new beginning for them.

The fox looked around for someone to talk to. She wasn't sure what was really going on, much less where to go. She stuck close to her friend group, holding her breath anxiously as she traced a couple scars along her arms. 

"WELL HELLOOOOOO!!" The group of girls yelped and spun around, the fur on the purple fox's arms standing up as she looked up. A rather thin man with spiked up blonde hair and glasses grinned at them. "You must be our US transfers! YEEAAHHH!~" 

The fox shrank back, her ears lowering. "Too loud..." 

The man gave a nervous smile. "Sorry, my quirk can be rather overbearing.. I am Present Mic. You must be the transfers?"

Fawn gave a nod. "We are.. so you were expecting us?"

"I was. I tend to help the transfers get more comfortable here... You must be Fawn, Maddie, Jess, Kate and..." Mic looked at the fox, opening his mouth. 

She was quick to cut him off. "Mocha. I'm Mocha... Mocha Black. It's nice to meet you."
