It's been a week since the party. And Karylle did not feel the presence of Vice since then.

"Good morning! What's up?" Coleen and Karylle turn their head towards the voice and they saw Anne smiling while walking out from the elevator.

Karylle smiled and greeted Anne. "Good morning Anne." While encircling her arms to her friend.

Coleen did the same thing and greeted Anne as well. They were chatting for a minute in the corridor before Karylle and Coleen decided to go straight to the board room..

But Karylle noticed Anne yawning so many times. "Anne, are you okay? You look sleepy."

Anne yawn once again before she answered. "Well, yes I'm a bit sleepy. And thanks to my brother!" Rolling her eyes, with a little irritation on her tone. Karylle furrowed her brows upon hearing something about Vice, Anne's brother..

Coleen adjusted her eyeglasses and got curious. "What did Kuya Vice do?"

Anne rolled her eyes. "He just started going home very late. Making me awake the every night. And that makes me feel so mad at him."

Karylle felt worried on him. "Ah.. Anne, why? Does he have a problem?" Anne, stared at her for seconds trying to read her friend's expression. Then Karylle turn her eyes away from Anne and pretended not affected.

Anne heave a sigh "I don't know K. He became busy this past few days. Maybe because of his business. I guess."

Karylle just gave her a nod. But she's still worried, cause she think that maybe it's her fault. Because the last time they talk, she rejected him.

But Karylle came back from the train of her thoughts when Coleen started to talked. "Ate K, we should get going, Mr. Chua will be here in a minute."

Anne raised an eyebrow. "Mr. Chua?"

Karylle nodded. "He wants us to do his show room in Pasay."

Anne smiled and tap Karylle's arm. "Okay, I know you can get that. And I have to go. A pile of paper works waiting for me." And she leave them with a wink.

After their meeting with Mr. Chua, Karylle and Coleen proceeded in the office and work for the plan and paperworks needed for the project. But Karylle is disturb, thinking about Vice. She never saw him for a week. She thought that he is mad at her. Karylle feels guilty of what happened.

Coleen noticed Karylle spacing out and not focus on what they are doing. "Ate K?" She wave her hand infront of K's face, but there is no response from her. So Coleen decided to snap her fingers on Karylle's face and it worked.

Karylle went back from herself and gave Coleen a wondering look. "Ate K, are you okay? I think, I was drowned by your deep thought." Karylle looked at her puzzled, so Coleen sighed "Ang lalim kasi ng iniisip mo Ate K.. Is there something bothering you?"

Karylle leaned on her chair and turned it to face her window. "Yes, I'm fine Coleen. Just.... Just thinking about something."

"Something?.... Baka naman someone." Karylle snapped her head facing Coleen who is smirking at her.

"Wh.. What are you talking about?" Karylle turn her eyes away from her secretary/friend when she saw her smiling playfully.
