Chapter 40

Vice's POV:

I squeeze my eyes when I felt light brightened me. I tried to toss my body to the other side, so I can continue my sleep.

And as I shifted my body, my hand brushed on something. So I open my eyes and just on that moment... I thought I was dreaming..

And if this is just a dream, I don't want to wake up anymore.

I can see her face nearly. I can even count her long eye lashes. Her nose pointing straightly on me, tempting me to touch it. Her cheeks glowing from the sunlight behind her. And those cherry lips that are slightly opened.

I draw my index finger to her nose bridge down to her cheek then down to her lips to know if she is real.. But before my finger touches her lips, she groaned and moved her face a little. So I pulled my hand and used it to cover my face and pretended I was asleep.

When I did not feel any movement, I slowly took a peek to see if she vanished as a proof that this is just a dream.

But my eyes became bigger when she stayed infront of me. "Is this real?" I whispered doubtfully.

I pinch my cheek with my fingers and I squinch because of the pain. Now I'm expecting her image to be gone by now.

But again, she is still here. Still lying next to me. As I started to realize that this is no longer a dream, my heart started to tamper inside my chest.

And I felt my heart stopped when she slightly opened her eyes.

"H-hi?" I greeted nervously.

Amazing! She replied and smiled. "Good morning."

My tongue felt numb. I can't say anything and my body got paralized. I want to shout or jump on the bed because of happiness, but I can't.

I reached her face with my hand to feel her face. "This is not a dream." I said with excitement.

She giggled a bit and closed her eyes. Then she held my hand caressing her face. "This is real, Vice."

I smiled. Nothing can compare the happiness that I am feeling right now.
"S-so that k-kiss? It really happened?"

She nodded while smiling.

"How about the star gazing while we were lying on the sand and embracing each other?"

She giggled while slowly opening her eyes. "Yes, it happened."

I moved closely and rested my forehead to hers. "So the last night when we were happily watching movies really happened?"

She reached my face with her hands. "Everything were real. Hindi ito panaginip."

I chuckled and smiled lopsidedly. "Really?"

She parted her face a little, still her hands on my face. "Ay! Ang kulit."

With my smile pasted on my face "So, if everything were real.. Does it mean that... Something happened last night?"

She frowned cause she's confuse. So I playfully raised my eyebrows.. "You know.. You and me.. Here in this room.. On this bed.. Alone." Using my husky and sexiest voice.

For quite seconds her face was full of confusion. But as it goes along, her face slowly became red and I can't believe that her eyes can be that any bigger.
