Childhood wish into a fairy-tale (1)

Mitsuri dusted the dust off her apron, making sure that her headband wasn't slipping as she rushed around in the kitchen. She sighed, shoulders relaxing as she collapsed onto a wooden chair. Serving the Kocho family wasn't the easiest thing in the world, especially her, who was always around Miss Kocho. They practically grew up with each other, Mitsuri always stood by Shinobu's side.
She was her personal maid, to say the least—or actually, they're practically best friends.
Even when they were really young, Mitsuri always had the habit of staring at Shinobu whenever she could. Sneaking glances at her beauty was something only Mitsuri had the ability to.
"Hey hey, come on now. You can't be resting when the Kocho family are having guests over!" Her supervisor urged, patting at her back. Her other arm holding a basket full of fresh vegetables close to her waist. "How are they going to see the Kocho family if they have a bunch of incompetent servants messing things up?"
Class and power were the only thing important to a family.
Their outer appearance was the only thing that mattered.
To speak the truth, Mitsuri really looked up to Shinobu because of that. Her status and everything were like heavy weights on her shoulders—Shinobu once told her that. "I can't go on another day without feeling anxious. No matter how hard I try to hide it, my parents always can see through that. They always make me strive for 100% when my limit is 80%." She spoke with a gentle smile, her eyes nothing but a void of emptiness.
No anger, no sadness—she's lost them years ago.
Mitsuri never knew when she was staring for too long, this was a bad habit of hers. Shinobu was just so pretty, she could stare at her forever, like a majestic painting hung up on a wall.
"Yes yes," Mitsuri stood up, stretching her sore muscles. Cooking was her strength, as she was an avid food lover. The kitchen cooks worked in sync with Mitsuri, as they made meal after meal of delicious dishes. She places the finished dishes onto the side for her supervisor serve up to their guests. She was nothing but happy, as that was her key of making good meals. She always treated cooking as a passion, something she poured her heart and soul into.
"Oh my! It's so good!" Shinobu once complimented her cooking, and that one sentence was the source of motivation for her cooking.
Shinobu's relationship with her personal maid were something others fawned over.
As they always switched servants to find ones that are completely loyal, Mitsuri has often heard stories of maids and servants that were mistreated by their masters. Whether it was physical or verbal abuse, Mitsuri had heard it all. And for that reason, she was very thankful for the position that she was given.
She was Shinobu's favorite maid; she absolutely adored her for her cooking, bursts of energy, and bright smile that she always had.
"The sunshine in a pitch of darkness." She described her to others.
And Mitsuri, could never stop talking about how great Shinobu was. Her flawless beauty, her graceful movements, and her outstanding generosity and kindness. Absolute class of beauty. "Her hair, have you guys ever felt it? It was like velvet, smoother than anything I've felt before." She once described to the other servants; they had a little group where they would gossip and share thing they encountered.
