Y/N POV:
My name is y/n and I just came to Jackson. Me and my family use to live in California but we unfortunately had to move due to the outbreak.

I never had a good relationship with my family members, they always thought I was crazy in a way. I tried coming out to them but they say,

"Mija, it's just a phase, you'll grow out of it."

I don't understand why my family can't accept me for who I am as a person. I hope my life will change and hopefully this move will be a big change.
Ellie's POV:
"Kiddo could you help me move these crates to the other side of town?"
"Sure, Joel."
"We got some new people moving in." Joel said out of breath. I could tell he was having a hard time.
"Oh really?" "That's amazing." I don't blame Joel these boxes felt like 1,000 pounds

We moved all the boxes and my shirt was very sweaty. I was about to head back home to take a shower but this girl in front of me made me sigh in awe. She was wearing a white beanie, a jean jacket, ripped jeans, and converse. I already loved her style and she was the prettiest girl I've ever seen. Oh my god what am I doing? DONT FUCK UP YOUR FRIENDSHIP.

"Hey!"
I realized I zoned out and quickly rubbed my eyes and quickly pulled out my hand for a hand shake,
"H-Hey are you new here?" Damn I'm so pathetic, I could barley get the words out.
"Oh yeah I'm new here, it's y/n btw."
"Ellie." I told her glazing her e/c eyes, they are so pretty.
She caught me staring and she was blushing. We awkwardly stared at each other, admiring each other's beauty while biting our lips.
"I- I should go, I can't be late to training." she said stumbling over snow.
I held in my laugh. I wanted to laugh at her being so nervous.
"Y-Yeah me too." I said while walking away.
This snow is getting thick as ever, leaving my feet numbing. I don't blame her for almost falling. I know this is going to be a good winter.

**this story is going to be crappy, get used to it."
