03. (pt. 2)

Third Person POV.

      Once Bella finally left the house In toddler tantrum behavior the Coven and Pack calmed down Besides Zoey who was still silently crying in fear and sadness; from the fact that her used to be best friend would treat her this way, when Zoey has done nothing but be nice to her.

"Zoey honey, calm down Bella left." Rose spoke softly to the red haired Angel in Sam's arms crying. His arms wrapped protectively around her. Sam was absolutely furious, as was the whole pack, but Sam especially. How dare that bitch touch our imprint?! What did Zoey ever do to deserve this!? His thoughts running wild.

"I know what happened Sam. Bella got hurt because of me, and Jacob both leaving her for other girls. Even though Jacob wasn't ever hers to begin with, she felt like she needed him to be her beck and call 24/7 when I was gone. For that alone I apologize. I believe if I hadn't of left, she wouldn't have acted that way and would still be friends with Zoey." Edward stated, reading the Alpha's thoughts with a look of guilt.

Zoey's crying slowed down and she pulled her face away from Sam's warm chest and looked at Edward with red puffy eyes and sadness sparkling in her deep brown eyes.

"Edward, I know you hurt Bella but if you weren't totally happy in the relationship; it would have been more miserable for you in the long run. Even though Bella got her feelings hurt and she is taking it out on Tanya and I, at least hopefully, sooner than later, Bella can find someone who she is better off with. Just like you and Tanya. It's better this way Edward believe me." Her soft toned voice explained with a gentle smile at the end pointed towards the new couple.

Edward and Tanya smiled at the teenager "Thank you Zoey. I'm glad we met someone as kind and caring as you. I think all of
us are going to get along just fine." Tanya stated with a smile; as Edward sat back down on the couch beside his true mate, and holding her hand in a gentle grip.

Rosalie asked a question that popped up in her mind "What is Zoey going to do about her living situation?" Everyone looked at her curiously, Rosalie continued "I mean she lives with Bella right now and with everything going on I wouldn't blame Zoey for not feeling safe."

Zoey looked at Rose who was still standing near her protectively and looked at Sam wondering the same thing.

"Well, I'm thinking because Emily and I already have a room set up for you at our place, maybe you can live with us. And if you want, you can go and visit the Cullen's anytime. Unless there is a danger near by that they can warn us about beforehand, or if Bella is trying to come by." Sam suggested looking at Carlisle, "That is if it's okay with you guys of course." He added with a small grin forming.

Carlisle nodded and smiled at Zoey, along with Esme and the other Coven members "That is more than okay Zoey. I can already tell that everyone loves you. We will give you our numbers so if you ever need to come over, just give one of us a call."

Zoey smiled gratefully at Carlisle and Sam, while feeling a bit guilty, thinking that she may be in the way of their normal daily lives.

Jasper frowned when he felt guilt in Zoey's emotions. He looked at her concerned and asked softly "Why do you feel guilty Zoey?" Everyone looked at Zoey curiously.

Zoey looked at Jasper a bit shocked that he knew but realized he must of used his power to detect her emotions and sighed. "I don't know; it's not that I'm not grateful for the offer.. I guess I just feel like I would be getting in the way of everyone's daily lives and I would be a burden." She said as she downcast her gaze towards her worn out converse.

Sam's hands tightened slightly around her waist, feeling saddened that his Imprint thought that she was a burden.

Alice spoke up this time from her spot beside Jasper "Honey. You are no where near a burden to ANY of us. Believe me, I've seen it all. You will make everyone happier just by being in their presence. You are more important in this world, than you think." She smiled widely and winked at the redhead, whom looked at her with a gentle smile, feeling a tad relieved by that statement.

Zoey nodded and glanced at Sam and confirmed her choice "Okay, then I would love to live with you guys." Sam smiled so big he thought his cheeks were going to fall off.

"But.." Zoey continued "Under one condition." Sam nodded "I get to help Emily around the house with chores." She finished with a small smirk and a wink. Sam chuckled and agreed "I think we can arrange that." He said winking back smoothly.

Everyone chuckled softly, and Carlisle grinned feeling satisfied with the arrangements. He pulled out a piece of paper that he wrote down quickly during the conversation that had all of the covens numbers on it.

"Alright Zoey, here is all of our numbers and just give us a call if you ever want to come by and visit." He stated with a smile. The beautiful redhead reached over and grabbed the paper from Carlisle's grasp.

"Thank you to everyone." Zoey said looking into every beings eyes with gratitude and appreciation. "If it weren't for you guys, I'm sure Bella would have done much worse to me. I don't know how I can ever repay you for all of this."

Esme stopped forward next to Carlisle again who loved to give Zoey the paper. "There is nothing you need to repay us with. You being safe and happy is enough for us dear." She stated softly smiling at the teenager.

Zoey smiled back and looked at Sam who started talking "We better get going guys. If we aren't home before Emily finishes cooking dinner, I know she will give us an earful." Zoey giggled and nodded knowing it was true. "I never thought I would say this but thank you, to all of you. The treaty still stands for now but we will see about making changes in the future." He said looking at Carlisle.

Dr. Cullen nodded understandably "You're welcome. We understand, we will stay in our area for now but if you need our help you can always come by our house."

Sam smiled and agreed. He looked at the Pack and nudged his head to the door to tell them to leave and head to Emily's. The Pack stood up and walked out. Zoey hearing their clothes rip and the paws patter into the woods to run to the house.

Sam held Zoey's hand and lead her towards the door. "Thank you, again I will hopefully see you guys soon." Rosalie smiled adoringly at her "Of course Hon."

Sam then lead Zoey to the car so he could drive it back. Zoey has never felt more relief than she has since everything with Bella occured and she felt like a weight has been lifted off her shoulder.

Thank you Cullen's. You just saved me from a lifetime of dealing with Bella Swan.
