It was first period of gym class for Russell. The boys and girls were separated during Gym Class. Zoe let go of Russell's paw reluctantly and his green giant eyes met with her icy cold blue crystal eyes. She had been her non-extroverted self ever since the day Russell's dad had stabbed a belly button piercing through the poor dog's navel while she was asleep. She likes the belly button piercing though because Russell told Blythe to give it to Zoe anonymously, but suffice as to say unfortunately Jerry already stabbed it in her skin.
It was bleeding, but she still hasn't fully healed emotionally from that traumatizing incident.

"Bye baby-," Russell told her. "Bye hon," Zoe blew a flying kiss to him and ran along with Pepper and Penny as Minka had already gone into the girls locker room.
Meanwhile during gym class for the guys, a big giant bulldog came out and started slobbering. He made loud slurping noises which were quite disturbing and grimaced at Sunil and Vinnie laughing among themselves and hugging each other.
"HEY!" The gym coach hollered while the other pets were lined up for role call quietly in an orderly and well fashioned manner.
Sunil shuddered and screamed as Vinnie just flinched.
Russell squirmed and began shaking as he noticed everyone in class was almost taller than him except for Vinnie who was about the same height as him or perhaps he was shorter than him. Russell smirked to himself until the coach snapped his fingers in front of Russell's face getting him out from his thoughts.
Russell trembled and began stuttering, "Y-yes coach."
The coach eyes Russell from top to bottom. Russell was wearing his sports band on his head and was carrying his black and red gym bag around his shoulders. The coach scoffed but then began letting out a ferocious laughter which scared Vinnie and Sunil as Russell just scowled at the coach.
"Listen here porcupine, no gym bags allowed in the GYMNASIUM. YA KEEP THEM IN THE LOCKER ROOM. UNDERSTAND?!" The dog yelled in his ear.
Russell's spikes stood on edge, "I'm a hedge-h-h-hedgehog sir and I won't bring it here again," Russell corrected him a bit shaky.
Sunil and Vinnie quickly grabbed Russell so he would be with them. "Guys, what are you doing? My role call spot is over there," Russell pointed afar.
"Dude, this coach is a nutjob, it's better if we all stick together," Vinnie winked. "I concur," Sunil agreed.
"LISTEN UP KIDS! If you think gym class is fun then think again! YOU'RE WRONG!" the bulldog abruptly shouted. Russell quickly dashed into the locker room to put his bag back.
"HEY PORCUPINE!" The coach yelled at him from across the gym.
"Uh, sir, I was just going to put my bag back," Russell tried to justify himself.
The coach glared at him, "SINCE YOU'RE ALREADY HERE! Just keep the bag in the corner, little porcupine."
"Um, Mr.Bulldog Coach or whatever your name is he's a hedgehog," Vinnie stated.
"Yes, and maybe you should address him by his real name," Sunil added.
With that the coach bursted out laughing again and shushed both of them, "All right then hedgehog what's your name?"
Russell walked back to his spot as everyone stared at him whispering. His face grew red and hot as he felt a bunch of eyes stare at him.
"My name is Russell," he told the coach.
"Russell? Russell, eh? WRONG ANSWER!" The coach waved his roster back and forth in the air in front of his face.
"But sir th-that's my name," Russell tried to tell the coach. The coach started laughing again and shot Russell a dirty look. Vinnie elbowed Russell. Sunil whispered, "your full name."
Russell gave Sunil a quick smile and turned his head towards the coach, "My name is Russell Ferguson."
"FERGUSON!" The coach yelled in his face.
"AHHH!" Russell curled in a ball while everyone just stared at them.
"GET BACK IN YOUR LINE or I'm sending you to detention!" The coach scolded him.
Russell quickly nodded his head and rolled back in line.
"So, kids, today we will learn ZUMBA!" the coach's voice went from low to high.
Everyone stared at each other with tired eyes. This was going to be a long day.
At the girls gymnasium, an old hedgehog came out with a whistle and a baseball cap. He blew his whistle as the shrill sound of it echoed throughout the gym. "In your places bimbos!"
Minka and Pepper exchanged shocked glances amongst each other. Penny Ling frowned at the coach and Zoe almost fainted. "Zoe!!" Penny Ling yelled, as she almost fell down. Pepper quickly caught her as she was about to collapse.
"I-I can't be here. I have to l-leave," Zoe said, getting a glimpse flashback of when Russell's dad Jerry stabbed the belly button piercing on her navel.
Jerry began attendance. He went through all the girls names and the last name on the list was...
"ZOE TRENT!" Jerry exclaimed.
Zoe's eyes grew wide as a lost deer caught in headlights. She shivered as she hid behind Penny Ling. "Girl, help me!" Jerry ran behind Zoe as she ran away from him and he kept following her chasing her down the hallway. She screamed loudly, "RUSSELL HELP ME!"
"MY SON GOES HERE? OH this is BAD!" Jerry exclaimed slightly forming a slightly sadistic smile.
Russell had disowned his father not too recently when his dad had stabbed the belly piercing on Zoe but Jerry knew this was the perfect opportunity to injure his son.
Zoe ran and Jerry lost her sight.
Zoe ran into the boys locker room and screamed until she saw Russell run in and his eyes looked red like he had cried them out. Zoe screamed, "OH MY GOD! RUSSELL!" Russell muffled Zoe's mouth so she would keep quiet. Her blue scared eyes scanned the room and she jumped into Russell's arms. Russell gripped Zoe tightly as he hid her behind him.
Zoe plopped down on the cold hard ground.
"Dad stay back!" Russell yelled, taking his gym bag loaded of heavy dumbbells and threw it on him. Jerry darted it and it missed hitting the bouncy chair and it ricocheted back in Russell's direction slamming his face. Hard.
Zoe cried and whimpered and she let out a dramatic scream when he had hit her boyfriend.
"Russell!" Zoe leaned into his face and tried to wake him up when Jerry was about to swing the dumbbell and hit Russell once again.
Out of nowhere Minka jumped from the locker room chandelier and swung down towards Jerry and took a pendulum and swung it near his head.
Jerry missed it and then grabbed Zoe's chest.
Zoe started kicking him and she stuck her tongue out once he lost his grip on her. She tumbled across the floor and whimpered in pain.
Russell woke up and then noticed Jerry attacking Zoe. He immediately scooped up Zoe and carried her and ran out of the high school and went down to Littlest Pet Shop. Russell placed Zoe down gently inside the fire hydrant slide so she could relax and no one was there and they had their own little sweet privacy.
Russell ran his claws to stroke Zoe's purple and pink hair as she blinked back her tears.
"Russell, I'm s-" Zoe tried to apologize.
"Say no more. I understand. My dumb dad was there huh," Russell acknowledged.
"Yeah but I'm just thinking how did he get ahold of becoming a PE teacher at LPS high? Who could've possibly hired him?" Zoe asked.
"After his hidden terrible criminal record, anyone could've hired him Zoe. Many pets don't know about his heinous crimes which is why he must be stopped!" Russell said determined, grabbing his Cyril McFlip cap.
Pepper quickly dashed into the fire hydrant slide and the rest of the pets peeked inside.
"ZOE, ARE YOU ALL RIGHT?" Minka asked worried.
"We were so worried about you!" Penny Ling added.
"I too was very worried," Sunil said. "Same with me," Vinnie nodded.
"She's fine," Russell said, stroking her hair still. "Thanks guys." As Zoe was too fatigued to speak, Russell spoke for her.
"Who even hired that jerk?" Russell asked.
"What jerk?" Minka asked.
"Beef jerky?" Vinnie asked.
Russell slapped his forehead.
"He's talking about his dad, Jerry," Sunil said as a matter of factly.
"FERGUSON!" Russell's gym bull dog teacher ran in the fire hydrant slide.
"Step away from the girl! You might get cooties!" He shouted with caution.
"How did you find me," an angry Russell was staring at him.
"Apparently one of the gym teachers told me that a purple cocker spaniel dog was trying to kill him!" the gym teacher said. "And that happens to be your little pal over here," he pointed to an unconscious Zoe.
Russell shook his head to Zoe's defense, "Um actually you're mistaken sir. Sorry to burst your bubble, but I believe that Zoe was the one who was physically attacked and harassed by my dad."
"That's outrageous! How can a PE teacher harass a teenage girl dog!"
"Because he stabbed her with a belly button piercing once," Russell remarked, pointing to Zoe's now clean navel that once bled.
"Harassed by your dad? Who is your dad?" the bulldog coach asked.
Russell let out a relentless sigh, "Zoe's gym teacher is my dad."
"Stop interrogating Russell and Zoe and at least show some sympathy!" Pepper snapped.
