When Yb started driving his mom and sister kept looking a me, not gon lie it was kinda weird but I'm grateful for the ride cause the school is not that close to the woods I stay at.
"Yo can y'all stop staring at him damn" Yb said as we were approaching a stop light.
His mama looked at him and rolled her eyes "boy I wasn't even staring" she said lying.
"Anyways Khalil, tell us about yourself. And by the way my name is TeeLee and my mother's name is Sherhonda, also our apologies for staring". TeeLee says glancing back and forth from her mother to me.
"Uhh well, there isn't much to tell I guess. My name is Khalil Johnson, I'm 11, and I guess you can say I'm kind of a nerd. I really like to learn new things". I said smiling at the end.
"Oh fr? What's you favorite subject?" Yb said keeping his eyes on the road.
"Either math or English honestly"
"You know you are on handsome young man, you gotta girlfriend don't you?" Sherhonda said smirking at me.
"Oh no ma'am, I'm not really a social person. I don't really like talking to people I'm kinda shy."
"Anyways how is life at home?" TeeLee said looking down at her lap.
Luckily we were arriving at the school because I wasn't really comfortable answering that question honestly.
"Uhh, well we're here now, bye guys. Oh and thanks for the ride Yb"
"No problem li bro, and call me Kentrell. Oh and im picking up after school to aight?".
"Ight see y'all then" and with that being said I went inside the school building waiting for the most dreadful 8 hours of my life to be over with.
Kentrell's POV

"TeeLee why tf would you ask some shit like that?" I said as we were pulling out the school line.
"My bad Kentrell I just wanna know his living conditions."
"Lil man basically lives in them woods bruh, I don't know why but hopefully I'll get them answers today".
"Boy you got 2 days to tell him the damn truth, cause I'm not fucking leaving without him... oh and he staying with us at the hotel tonight." Sherhonda said while getting out the car walking to the room mad asl. I can't say that i blame her cause I wouldn't want any of my kids living like that either.
"Ight TeeLee ima go in my room to take a nap cause I'm tired asl, so whenever it's time to pick him up let me know." I told TeeLee as I went to my room to go to sleep.
