"In a world full of war and hate,
Her body is my temple and she is my religion,
Scared yet spirited - as she laid bare
The demons she had slayed and spared,
I can't help but fall into the depths of her."- The Depths of Her, Mystqx Skye
Yaman had been driving as if the very devil was at his heels, at a brisk speed of 120 kilometres per hour.
He had to get to Seher, at any rate! There was a nagging voice inside his head which kept telling him that Seher was in distress. And once the thought was lodged there, he couldn't get it out of his system! When it came to Seher, each and every intuition and sensibility of his was connected to her in a strangely inexplicable and telepathic way. He couldn't pinpoint what had alerted him to this feeling, but he had a strong sixth sense which prodded him to drive as fast as he could. There was a feeling of impending doom!
Yaman's phone buzzed for the sixth time and finally picking it up, he replied, "Evet, Nedim. I am on her trail. I had taken a short cut and detour from Bursa and now I am heading west. I should be reaching the place where her current GPS location shows, within ten minutes, tops. The GPS location appears to be in Bozcaada but it is stationary, which means she has either stopped or taken a break. Either way, my window of opportunity is miniscule and I cannot squander it away! I will let you and Cenger know once I find Seher."
Saying this, Yaman disconnected the call and once again, stepped on the gas.
---------
Seher was quivering now and felt that her hands and feet were not working anymore! She couldn't run or even move despite the acute terror she was experiencing. It seemed her body had been paralysed by fear.
She simply stood there rooted to the spot, numb to the depths of her being. The man took her hand and starting pulling her towards the motel. He jeered, "I will take my payment with interest. Tonight, I will enjoy you and your company."
Seher finally came back to her senses and the moment he started pulling her towards the building, she started screaming for assistance at the top of her lungs. "Is anyone there?? Help me.Please. Please!! Anyone? Help me. Please!"
She then turned to look at the man and pleaded, "Please let me go. I beg of you. Please, spare me!! What have I done to you?? I will pay you as much money as you want. I promise, I will arrange it somehow. But please let me go. I am a married woman and I have a family to go back to. Please leave me alone!"
In answer to her appeals, the man simply laughed in an evil manner and replied, "I don't want money, woman. I want a woman to warm my bed for tonight. Enough of your cries, now do as I say or I will pull the trigger."
Saying this he took out a pistol from his coat pocket and aimed at her.
Seher was shivering now!! Yusuf's innocent face swarmed in front of her eyes. No!! She could not die. She could not leave Yusuf an orphan all over again. She could not die!!
She started weeping and was questioning her choices in earnest now. Why did she have to run away from home?? Why?why? She should have stayed and faced her fears and endured everything from Yaman, for the sake of Yusuf. She had made a grave mistake!! She was not scared of dying but she was very scared of leaving Yusuf without a motherly figure to take care of him. Why was this happening to her? Why? Why had she been so scared and impulsive and run away from home? What more could have Yaman done? He would have touched her without her consent?? She could have endured his hate for the sake of Yusuf. She loved Yaman from the bottom of her heart and she should have taken all his accusations and wrath and continued living in the house. At least, she would have been able to care for Yusuf.
