Me thinking on an ending to this story, then comes up with one, but... 😭😭 can't wait to wright it tho! (This is prob gonna be a short story, with about 5-6 chapters at least)
"Pa grew up in Massachusetts on a farm. He was drafted into World War 2 when he was only 24, I was only 1 at the time so I don't remember much, but I suppose it's not much of a shocker to ya that he's hostile towards new folk. Still, I should apologize on his behalf. He's a stubborn man, and hates to admit when he's wrong. I hope ya and ya brother can forgive him." Lilly spoke in a calm voice as she treaded through the thick woods that surrounded her farm. The wagon they sat on was pulled by a strong horse named Molly. She was a beautiful horse, with a dark mane running down her neck and over her head along with her tail. Her body was the color of the dirt, and she was very calm.
"There's nothing you should be apologizing for." Jafar told her, eyeing his new clothing that Lilly had gifted him that morning. It was a regular old white button shirt that was a little too big for him, so he had to tuck it into his brownish shorts, that went right above his knees and were rolled up a little, with white socks that came halfway up his calf, and some weird shoes that had something called "laces." Lilly had to tie his shoes for him, as he was too confused to even realize that he had to tie them.
Sinbad was awake when they were about to leave, and he had at first been confused, especially to see Jafar in this type of attire, but after the latter explained what was going on, Sin approved. "Whatcha thinkin bout, Jafer'?" Lilly asked, and Jafar realized he had been staring a little too long at his clothes.
"Oh- I- um...!" He stuttered with his words, trying to find some way to get off the hook of questioning. It was weird, usually he didn't get this way, but when he was talking with Lilly, he became just like how he was with Rurumu. Jafar paused before sighing. "These clothes are... weird." He mumbled. Lilly laughed, a sparking joy in the sound.
"Ah, but ya and ya brothers clothes were just as weird. It was like ya both popped up from the 17th century or something. Haha!" She joked, and suddenly Jafar felt a tight ting in his chest. 17th century? What century were they in? Lilly seemed to kick onto Jafar's sudden confusion, and sighed. "Sorry, sometimes I' forget I'm speakin to a child. Ya probably don't even know what century it is." She said, and Jafar shook his head. Once again Lilly sighed, clenching the reins. "It's the 20th century, kiddo. November 14, 1979." Oh. That's... strange.
"Can I ask you something, Ms.Lilly?" Jafar asked, suddenly having the urge to ask more questions on where they were. He probably should've asked these earlier, but he had forgotten.
"Of course, darlin'. And please, call me Lilly." Jafar nodded, swinging his legs back in forth from where he sat on his seat. Being in the summer heat here didn't feel like he was going to get burnt every second, and so it was refreshing. Not to mention the scenery. It was absolutely beautiful out here! Oh, if only Sinbad could see this. He would be gushing over all of it.
"Where are we? Like, what country?" He questioned, turning back to Lilly. She chuckled, coming up to a railroad. She stopped for a moment for the rails to come down, signaling a train was coming.
"We're' in the United States, Texas, hun'. Can't believe even ya didn't know that. Ya are 10, right?" Jafar knew she was just teasing, but couldn't help the slight ting in his heart by that. In reality, he's actually 25, only about 15 years off of Lilly. He pouted, swinging his legs a little harder. Lilly laughed again, this time patting Jafar's head. "Ya are adorable, little fella. Ya're brother's so lucky to have ya." Jafar chuckled, leaning back and continuing to swing his legs.
"I'm lucky to have Sin." He said, looking up at the sky. Lilly hummed, eyeing Jafar closely. He didn't mind all too much, just kept staring up at the blue sky and clouds.
