It's Christmas! Had so much fun today. Me and didi spend all the day chattering and singing and playing othello(it's an indoor game, but not very popular). We enjoyed the cakes made by maa and the unusual wizards' sweets sent by di's school friends. Some of them tasted really good, like the honeyduke's chocolate and the cauldron cake. The berty bott's every flavored beans were great, too, but there were some unbearable flavours, like earwax- I got one-yuck! We all went out for dinner too. One of the Best Christmas I ever had, with two EXCELLENT early Christmas gifts- The Diary and the letter.I didn't notice that there was s a second letter in the envelope, mentioning all the books and other equipments I needed for the school.
I am just too much excited to explore the wizarding world myself! Di's stories of Hogwarts are just fascinating. They send letters by owls and travel with broomsticks and do every kind of things we have read in the fairy tales. Di told me that I will go to Diagon alley and get my new Hogwarts books in July. It seems like AGES. I did't get much time to read the books yet, but they are kind of pulling me. I will start reading tomorrow, and its final. Di also said that first year students usually get their Hogwarts letter by owl post, or normal post sometimes, on their 11th Birthday, but I got the letter early(my 11th Birthday is on 21st February,2016) because the Headmistress thought that it would be easier for Di to explain the wizarding world to us.
That's all for today. I am so tired.

It's been ages, I know. I was busy reading the books di gave me, and I AM burying my nose in the books all the time.I already know most of the things about Hogwarts and I haven't even been there! I know that there are four houses, each having its own traits and colours and symbols. Gryffindor-the house of the brave and daring, with red and gold as colours and lion as symbol; Slytherin-House of cunning and ambitious, green and silver and snake; Hufflepuff-house of hardworking and loyal, yellow and black and badger and, this one is my favourite, Ravenclaw, house of the wise and creative, with colours blue and bronze and eagle as a symbol. And as I've written before,I am going write about ONLY my wizarding world experiences in this diary, and I am keeping my words. Today I went to DIAGON ALLEY! IT WAS ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! I don't think I can put it all perfectly, because I am so excited, but here I go.
In the morning,I got ready an hour before time and was constantly nagging after my parents, telling them to hurry up until we set out. Di was home for her summer holidays, so we went there together. We went to London first, and there,we went to a small pub named "Leaky Cauldron". The landlady,(her name was Hannah Abott Longbottom, she said) was very kind. She tapped a certain brick of the wall three times and the wall subsided, opening an archway to a street. Hannah smiled and gestured towards the the doorway, saying,"Welcome to Diagon Alley, young ladies."
Di smiled back, said,"Thanks Mrs Longbottom." and we entered the Diagon Alley.
The place was MAGICAL. No, thats not just an adjective, it WAS magical. I mean, what else would I call a place full of shops of spellbooks, wands, broomsticks, wizards robes, extremely strange potion ingredients (like Eel's eye and bat spleens and lionfish spines!), Strange pets like Owls, toads and rats(some of them surely had special abilities) and so many more strange things! Di was walking confidently, as she knew the whole place already. My aunt and uncle were also equally confident, unlike maa and baba, who were just as spellbound as me.
We stopped at the doorstep of a large building, named "Gringotts". It was the wizards'bank. They use currencies like ancient people- gold, silver and bronze coins, called Galleons, sickles and knuts.
"Well, kids, you better wait here. We'll go and change the currency." said uncle, and both our parents entered the wizarding bank.
I was staring at every direction possible, admiring the magicalness of the street when a voice came from behind-"Hey, Isha!"
