(Y/n) was transferring to Aoba Johnsai. He came from a poor family but managed to get to Aoba Johnsai due to his high focus on his studies. He was a simple boy. Trying to finish his studies for his family. Surprisingly, after his first few months in his new school. He already found someone that made his heart flutter. Yup, you're correct, the one and only Oikawa Tooru. They were the sweetest of couples. Due to Oikawa's popularity on the school campus, the couple made a name for themselves.

That day, it was a simple summery breeze. The air was fresh and the hallways were filled. (Y/n) reached for his locker and grabbed his books. He sighed, he was tired. But he gathered the rest of his energy to finish the school day. After studying for the test for hours on end, only for it to be moved stressed him. He was going to go to his next class till someone hugged him from behind. "(Y/n)-chan!~" He recognized the voice easily. "Oh, hi Oikawa? Why all of the sudden hugging me?"

"Because I missed hugging you (Y/n)-chan~ You've been so busy all of the sudden. What have you been doing?" Oikawa pouted. (Y/n) let out a laugh at his childish behaviour. "I've been studying Oikawa." "Oh! Yeah, I forgot how many tests we're given lately. How did you do in yesterday's test?" "I passed with flying colours, It was quite easy." He said proudly. Oikawa smiled. "Well, of course, you did, my boyfriend is intelligent after all," Oikawa announced, hugging his boyfriend tightly. "Oikawa you're squeezing me! A-And I wouldn't say I'm that smart!" (Y/n) squirmed. 

Oikawa let go of (Y/n), "Alright, I have to go to class now. See you later (Y/n)-chan!~" "Bye Oikawa! Love you!" Oikawa disappeared into the crowd. Although (Y/n) was expecting an 'i love you back, He decided to just ignore it. He knows Oikawa still loves him. Besides, he said I love you to let him know. Not to hear it back.

(Y/n) went to his classroom and continued the rest of the day.

At the end of the day, (Y/n) went to the gym to walk home with Oikawa.  "Hey, uhm, Iwaizumi?" (Y/n) called for him. Oikawa hasn't introduced him to his team yet, so the only person he knows is Iwa-chan. "What is it (Y/n)? You need something?" "Oh, no, I was just wondering where's Oikawa. We usually walk home together." "Uhm, sorry. We haven't seen him yet." That was strange, he'd usually be here.  "I think I saw him pass by the gate." "Oh, alright, thanks Iwa!" 

(Y/n) thanked him. As he was about to go to the school gate, Iwaizumi grabbed his wrist. "And, (Y/n), if anything happens to him and you. Call me." (Y/n) was a bit confused. "Okay-?" Iwaizumi let go of his wrist and watched (Y/n) head his way. 'Shittykawa...you promised...you better keep your promise...'

(Y/n) reached the gate, but, what he saw was...a bit heart-wrenching. He saw Oikawa flirting with another girl, as he leans on a wall. The girl was twirling her hair in her finger. (Y/n) thought that he told Oikawa multiple times to stop flirting with girls behind his back. Because he wasn't comfortable seeing the one he loves talking to someone flirtatiously. (Y/n) told him that they weren't an open relationship. But he still doesn't listen.
