Hello Guys,

* I am typing with shaky hands*

* because I am nervous as hell*

This is first chapter of my first ever book. Honestly I don't know how to write but I can dream. I am sharing my dream here. Also this is my escape way from this cruel world.

I have no idea anyone will rad or not but, it's fine. We'll see. Starting is bit fast. Please bear with me. Everything will fall in place as you'll read.

Shit, Veda is gonna kill me. I am late. Why did she call me, god knows what's her emergency. I hope it's not her one of the dress emergencies which she is having a lot recently. God knows whom she is gonna introduce me. I am Rue Ahuja running in the food court with heels and files stacked up in hand. I know it's weird but I came here running all over the streets. Before judging, it's not my fault. It's Veda's ....... NO wait it's my fault actually for making such friends. She texted me 15 minutes before-

'Code red emergency. Meet me in SP mall food court in 10. Meeting someone special.' - V

'In-office can't meet, Btw I am fully aware of your "emergencies"'- R

'I am your boss LITERALLY. lost 30 sec.'- V

' eye roll! You owe me'- R

So yeah here I am but I cannot see her. Where is she? Oh There she is, in the corner? Something is wrong she is not a corner person, she is like a center table type of person. Confident, outspoken. Someone special is a boy, noted. She waved to me. She looks a little tense, this is new.

"Thank god you are here," she hugged me. She is nervous..... "Better be your this emergency be like normal person's emergency," I said glancing over the boy.

"Hey, Rue. Nice to meet you finally." He knows more than my name then. and I don't even know his name. "Um... Hi." I said awkwardly looking towards Veda for further explanation. "Um... You know my recent dress emergencies.." She said hesitantly " yeah..." I said confusingly. " Ah... those were for him." She said standing beside him.

"Oh," I said wide-eyed. She doesn't do relationships. "I am sorry Rue I lied, We are trying. We are not sure what we mean," She said while squishing my hand. I can understand why she is furious. "That was a bad move Ved, But I am glad you are trying something real this time," I said touching her arm reassuring her.

" Thank you, so much for understanding., I always knew you are my best friend for a reason." She said hugging me. See this is her. I rolled my eyes at her snarky comment and hugged her back. " He is handsome," I said winking at her.

" I know right? He is really good." she winked back at me." You are disgusting" I whispered in her ears. Shray clears his throat to remind his presence. " Ved I don't think we are here to my permission right?" I said sitting on the chair. " Fuck, I am in deep shit!!". I raised my one eyebrow asking her to explain her further. "He is THE Shray Arya." She yelled whispered.

"Holy potato!!!!!!!" I said standing on my feet. She indeed is in a deep pickle. I heard snorting and glanced at Shray. I assume it's for my PG13 vocabulary "Your brother's best friend!!!!!" I whisper yelled shockingly. This is the worst of all. Ved is gonna die. " yes!!!" She said sadly and Shray nodded. "Please tell me you have another brother, who is not cocky, arrogant, ruthless, cruel, rude. Please tell me!!!" I pleaded.

Ved's brother Advik is a very successful businessman but he is full of attitude, he is full of himself, and from what I have heard he doesn't have a good reputation for girls. I haven't spoken to him, But have heard a lot of things about him. Mostly bad though.

"I like what you think about him. Interesting" Shray said amusingly a wide grin spreads across his face. "As you know he is not in the country for the last 6 months or so, he is living with our Nona and grandpa. He is coming next week," Pickle hell Ved is dating her brother's best friend behind his back.

"Best friend's sisters are off limit. Isn't that one of your bro codes," I asked turning towards Shray. He looks guilty. "I know! I know "He said frustrated, running hand through his hair. " Are you guys serious? or is it just infatuation. " I asked hesitantly." I guess so, I really like her. I never felt so strongly about any other girl." He said honestly. Ved's face lit up. "Ved?" I called her to hear her opinion about Shray. "I also do like him " Veda said looking at Shray. "You do !" Shray squeaks pecking her lips.

I looked at my friend she looks so much happy. "You guys are confessing it for the first time, aren't you?" I asked glaring at them. They both nodded. " You guys are unbelievable," I said smirking. They are confessing their liking in front of me. I rolled my eyes at them. "So what now?" I questioned. "Should we break up? I don't wanna jeopardize my friendship with Advik." Shray said sadly. Ved holds his hand and squashed in reassurance " Yeah! me too I cannot hurt my brother. We should um... break up?" She said hesitantly in low voice. "No," I said firmly glancing at their holding hands. They look shocked at my instant reaction. She cannot break their relationship. She found someone she likes. She is happy with Shray. Shray seems like a good guy, he is thinking about leaving the girl he likes, just to save his friendship with Advik. I know I don't know him much. But I know Ved doesn't do relationships, but here she is willing to start something new. Maybe this is her chance at settling up and have a happy life with Shray. "Rue....," Ved called to break my trance. "I think.....um... You guys can't break your relationship. You deserve a chance to see how this turns out." I gave my opinion. Both are looking curiously towards me. So, I stated further

" I don't know you much about Shray. But you seem like a good guy." " Really ?" Shray asked excitedly, Ved slapped his chest, and said " Shut up" He winked at her. " Yeah!" I answered Shray's excitement. " 3 reasons, 1st You make her happy. I've been noticing ever since her 'dress emergencies'. She looks happy, snicks out during lunchtime, always busy with her phone texting someone. God knows who?" I mocked her. " You noticed!" her eyes widened in surprise. Shray snorts loudly, almost choking on his fries, widening smile on my face. I raise my eyebrow at her. Of course I know. She ignores my taunt and asks " other two reasons" I stick out 3 fingers and continued. " I like the fact you are ready to leave her, to keep your best friend. and You both look cute together." Shray gets up from his seat and hugged me too tight for my liking, and said "A bit of it sounded like I am guy, but Thanks for understanding us. I like you, maybe be more than her," He said holding me tightly. Ved muttered asshole under her breath and kicked him in the shin and took me from his hold into hers. He whines rubbing over the shin. " She is mine don't ever think of her or I'll kill you." She threatened him. He gives her a middle finger and hugged us both tightly. Choking me even more " Guys I cannot breath." I said in a muffled voice. They both loosened their hold on me and laughed cheekily. We ate our meal talked about random things. Shray indeed is a nice guy. They both seem happy around each other. I am happy for them. I like Shray's vibe. The couple is similarly confident, outspoken, and obnoxiously loud sometimes. I am really curious about Advik though, I have listened so much about him mostly bad but the way Veda and Shray loves him, says otherwise. I have no idea what kind of person he is. I believe people have their own stories so, we are no one to judge. There is so much more to the story than we think we know. We don't know their part of the story. So, I don't believe in judging before even you know that person.
