Aurora was always a quiet girl, but that didn't mean she was innocent. She always silently pranked people, never getting in trouble herself. A hardworking Gryffindor, Aurora had grades to rival Hermione's. She didn't have too many friends, just Mellissa Grey, Bella Christian, and Callum Jenners, and that was enough.

While, to her friends she might seem cheery, she was far from it. See, Aurora is an orphan, raised in a muggle orphanage where she was mistreated. Constantly being beaten up and bullied, her childhood was horrid.

In her second year at Hogwarts, her only refuge was her quill and ink. Aurora, a natural born artist, found out that if you use a metal quill, dip it in ink, and dig it in your skin, it leaves a permanent mark, similar to a tattoo. Soon this became her favorite pass time. It only took a month to master.

Another habit she picked up in her third year was smoking. She believed she could smoke her pain away, and despite her friends warning that it would kill her, they didn't know how things were at the orphanage.
