O my unknown friend,
These pages hold my heart and soul,
The emotions within, my story to unfold.
My forgotten songs, once buried deep,
Will resurface now, no longer asleep,
In the season of pain, they were written,
A poet's heart, young and smitten...
When I started Behind Her Eyes, I didn't know if I could even finish it. After all, I had never compiled my works before for the public to read. But you started reading, and then you started commenting. And you have given me one of the best gifts a writer could receive—your love and support. Because of your encouragement, I was able to get my poems published.

Every poem I wrote had my heart and my utmost emotion. I had spent hours writing them, countless sleepless nights that made me write. It was hard and it took so much effort and time, but I loved every minute of it - because you were there to read it.
