Into the literal unknown

We stood up and headed to the door not knowing what we were about to face, as soon as we stepped through the door I got this massive headache and I'm sure Alex did too judging by the way he rubbed his forehead. The door closed behind us and we just looked at each other weirdly 

Suddenly I couldn't remember anything except that this guy standing next to me was my brother, his name is Alex, and my name is Aaron. "Where are we?" Alex said, "I'm not sure" I said then started looking around, we were in this white room, there was a table in the very center of the room with a laptop on it

Me and Alex went to investigate it when we heard a *click*  then these two girls walked in and I think they had that headache thing that just happened to us. They looked at us and we looked at them, "Who are you?" I asked, "I'm Veronica" said the girl whose hair was in a bun, "and I'm Vanessa" said the other

Me and Alex introduced ourselves. "You guys look so familiar for some reason" Alex said, "You too" Veronica said, "Yeah this is all so weird" Vanessa added. I walked to the laptop and noticed that something was written on the screen "Hey guys, check this out!" I said, and they all walked towards the laptop

"To exit this room you must find a key but in order to find that key you all must say your names into this laptop, but here's the twist you don't get to say your own name, you have to say the name of the person standing opposite to you"  We all look at each other

I bend down to the laptop and say Veronica's name into the microphone, she says my name, Alex says Vanessa's name, and she says his. We hear a soft click behind us and see a small box raising up from the ground. Alex walks over to it and holds out a key "Hey look It's the key!" he shouts, we high five each other then look for the door

We notice the doors we entered from disappeared and a black door appeared behind the table, Alex unlocks the door and we fins ourselves in another room with four boxes in each corner. Vanessa suggests we each go to a box, and we do

I look down and my box and find a screen with a picture on it, I see me, Alex, Vanessa, and Veronica standing side by side near a beach and I look up at the others and they all have this confused look on their faces

We start talking about what this picture could mean when we hear a buzzer and a small slot on the wall opens, drops a letter, then closes again...
