Nice To Meet You

Vanessa walks over and picks up the letter, she reads it aloud "After examining the picture one of you will have that specific memory come back to you, you just need to remember" 

"Well that was helpful" Alex said then rolled his eyes, "Wait...." Veronica says while putting a hand to her head "I'm remembering something, like a beach and a resort of some sort" she says, I look at the picture "Keep going.....", "CABO! This was when all four of us went to Cabo for his birthday" she says and points at me

"Cabo? Aaron's birthday?" Vanessa said, "Yeah that's what I remember, but how do we know Aaron and Alex?" Veronica said, "Hold on, so all four of us know each other somehow, and I'm guessing we're all so close because I mean we travelled for my birthday" I said very confused

While we were trying to figure out what was happening we heard another click, and a door appeared right next to Vanessa and Veronica's boxes. So we stopped our conversation and walked through the door 

We found ourselves in this huge flat land with trees, and grass, and a small lake with porta potties next to it (which I thought was extremely weird). We explored the place for about five minutes when a bird landed next to Veronica and it had a letter attached to it's leg  

"This puzzle is a very simple one. You guys simply need to spend one night here and get to know each other all over again. There's some spare changes of clothes as well as swimming costumes inside the porta potties, and there are two tents, and everything else you need like food, pillows, and blankets just behind it"

"Hey this seems like it's going to be fun!" I say then run towards the porta potties to get the tents, "Yeah this is going to be awesome" Alex said. So after I set up both tents and started a fire, we all say by it and started talking

"Soo, how long have you guys been twins?" Alex says and everyone laughs, "Hm ever since we were born I think" Veronica said playing along and we all laugh again. We talked for the whole night and we all got to know each other much better. We got to know each other's favorite colors and birthdays too. Alex and Vanessa headed in their separate tents and slept.

So me and Veronica sat by the fire roasting marshmallows and talking about random stuff. "Hey I noticed in the picture I was holding you like really close to me...." I said kinda quietly, "Yeah I noticed that too" she said then looked up at me, "Do you think me and you.....you know were more than friends before all this?" I asked looked at her, "Yeah I think we were...." she said and gave me a warm smile
