Chapter two

I woke up a little bit before we landed back at the tower. When we did, I was rushed out by Dr. Cho and some of her assistants, Clint and Nat came with us.

They put me on this metal table with a bar thing going from one side to the other. To be honest I don't know what it was or what it was doing.

"Is she going to be okay?" Nat asked Dr. Cho. Which she, Dr. Cho, replied with explaining what the thing does, thought I didn't understand a word she said.

"She's creating tissue," Bruce explained in awe.

"If you brought her to my lad the regeneration cradle could do this in 20 minutes."

"She gonna flat line. Calling it." Tony said coming in with drinks."Time."

"Gee thanks for the vote of confidence. I'll be made of plastic anyway, so I'll live forever." I said rolling my eyes as he hands me my drink.

"You'll be made of you, Miss Sophia, your own boyfriend won't be able to tell." The doctor said.

"I don't have a boyfriend." I said taking a drink.

"That I can't fix." She rolled her eyes. "This is the next big thing, Tony, it'll leave your clunky suits in the dust."

"That is exactly the plan." Tony replied. "And Helen, I expect to see you at the party on Saturday."

"Unlike you, I don't have a lot of time to party." She looked down at her clipboard then up quite quickly. "Will Thor be there?"

It was a few hours before the party states and Nat was up in my room helping me get ready. It took a while to find the right dress, but after several tries we found one. We pared it with brown ankle boots and a silver rose necklace.

"Time for hair and makeup." Nat said.

I sat in a chair across from her as she did my makeup. Then she went around behind me and did my hair.

When she was done I looked in the full length mirror I had and was in awe. I turned to Nat. "Thank you."

"No problem." She said then looked at the clock in my room. "Time to go, I'll meet you down there." Then she left.

I look at myself in the mirror one more time before leaving my room. I walk through the empty hallway to the top of the staircase leading to the party. As I walk down all eyes are on me, but left me when I got to the bottom.
