(Author note: hi guys just what to say I'm not very good at remembering dates when things happened in history but I'm going to try to be as accurate as possible. If I mess something up please let me know 🙃)

1940

Taehyung took a long drag of his cigarette as he watched the crowd of people fill the streets of New York. There where streamers falling from the sky people dancing around and cheering 'glory to god the Nazi are gone!' The older also smirks out in joy as he watched the people. Indeed they have won.

VJ Day or so they called it as people hugged one another. Sure there was still camps to be destroyed and Jews to be saved but the people choose not to dwell on the little things as soon all will be okay.

Taehyung put out the cigarette as a breeze blew through the sky. Looking up as the clouds passed by and the sun shined brightly. It made the olde think of someone. A boy who he had met during the fight. The boy was Korean just like Taehyung yet a little younger.

The boy had short black hair and dark dead eyes to match. His face was round and delicate like a woman's but dirty as if he haven't showered in days.

The boy was on the Nazi side.

Taehyung frowns when he thinks back to this. Even though the boy was on the enemy side he didn't seemed to want to be there almost as if he was trapped. As if in a time loop. He was part of the few Nazi Taehyung and his soldiers where able to capture and told to kill. The older was reluctant at first as he didn't seem to know why.

The boy didn't look dangerous nor did he act evil and yell and struggle like the others. He just sat quietly and looked off with his dark eyes as if he knew this would happen yet he wasn't afraid of death. As if he's been in this position multiple times already.

So.. Taehyung shot him. It was a quick one to the head. He didn't want the boy to suffer or feel pain anyway unlike his colleagues who took their time killing the others off.

Taehyung can't help but to wonder what would happen if they met again maybe in a different time. They Maybe could have met at a bar became friends over a few drinks. Maybe even more then that... now a these where just a silent thought within Taehyung head. One to forever be in his mind.

"Your still sitting here?" Minho sighs as he slings his arm around Taehyung. The older doesn't respond back still too busy within his own thoughts.

"Comes Tae the war ended that we came back alive go have some fun."

"I am having fun." Taehyung mumbled

"Sitting on the side of the road and smoking is not fun. Come one let's go around talk to some lady's us men who fought are hot on the market right now." Minho wiggle his eyebrows with a playfully smirk. Taehyung rolls his eyes.

"Don't lean on me so much people will think ill of us if you do."

"Who cares." Minho sighs "live a little Tae we aren't gonna be young forever."

If you only knew

Taehyung thinks to himself. Shaking the thought out of his head Taehyung silently agrees as he let's Minho drag him out and into the crowd of people.

This is how the older enjoyed his evening dancing with girls and drinking with his former soldiers. He found himself enjoying every minute of it. He usually wasn't one to party as he found them boring and time consuming. But with this era of music and fashion taste he was willing to give it a try...

The party continues late into the night when the older finally decides to go home after helping Minho back to his as he was too drunk to even walk in a straight line.
