The Change

Chapter 4

Today I had to walk home because Jo Jo had Cheer leading practice. I had to walk two miles. I started walking and it seemed like someone was following me. But each time I checked no one would be there. But then it HIT ME. Literally. This oversized,pimple faced, greasy, meatball tackeled me. ME?? 

"Get off!!!" I screamed and scrambled to get from under him.

"Shut up bitch." He yelled with his deep raspy voice.

Then it hit me. But not literally this time. But the fact that I would be raped. And there was nothing I can do about it with him sitting on me.

Within the next 12 seconds the hudge load was lifted off of me and was being brutally beaten. As the fight happened I quickly pulled my pants back in place and my shirt down.

O-M-G!!! Will I ever stopped bring surprised by this one person.

He finally stopped beating the man and walked over.

"Babe are you okay??? Ummm sorry didn't mean to call you that." He said looking very timid.

"Yes. I'm fine. Thank you. But I have one question." I say with my curiosity running wild.

"Ask away." He says casually.

"How did u know I was in danger?? Like we're almost in the middle of no where."

"I will always know, I will always come and save my princess, no matter what." He says and grabs my hands.

We got in the car after a 2 minute hug that he insisted on.

We drove to my house.

"Next time you have to walk home, don't, call me." He said with a very serious tone.

"Okay Okay. But I'm a big girl, I can handle myself." I say with confidence.

"But I will not allow you." He says with a reassuring tone this time.

"Okay."

After he dropped me off I got in the shower.

As soon as I got out I called Jo Jo for her to come over and that it was an emergency.

She came up the patio like always.

"Okay... Don't freak out when I tell you this.''

"Okay, I won't."

"Okay. On the walk home... This man came out of no where and tackled me. He was about to rape me, but someone came and rescued me. This someone fought the big meatball off and drove me home."

"O-M-G JAY ARE YOU OKAY??? Have you told your brother??"

"Yes. Jo Jo, I'm fine. But I'm not gonna tell my brother, because he's gonna get stressed and really mad, find the guy, and kill him."

"He deserves to get killed," She said bluntly,"who saved you anyway?"

"You wouldn't believe it."

"Yes I would" she says excited.

"Nuh uh"

"Yes huh"

"Your not ready."

"But I am!!" She yelled.
