The Change

Chapter 6

When I woke up I was in the hospital. I was being told that I was raped and that the police were out looking for the man that did it.
My brother looked like he hasn't slept in days.
"What happened" I asked in a soft voice.
Everyone's (Jo Jo,Cameron, and Jordan) eyes lit up like they were happy to see me.
"OH MY FLOWERS!!! Im so glad your awake" Jo Jo exclaimed while she ran over
"I thought i lost you lil sis. I don't know what i would have done if I had."
Jordan didnt say anything. His eyes lit up but then he went in a furious rage.
Then I saw Jennifer.
"Im so glad your okay Jayden." She said in a some what concerned tone.
''Look , I dont need you here now. If you weren't by my side before the accident then you don't deserve to be here now." I said in a harsh tone.
Then she did the unthinkable.
She kissed him.

Im not sure if it was because of the kiss but all i heard was a loud beeping sound that kept getting louder and louder.
Doctors and nurses started rushing in and i passed out again.
When I woke up (an hour later) the only person left was Jordan.
"Where's everyone?"
"They left to get some rest. They tried to make me leave but i didn't."
"You should have," I said bold and in a bitter tone,"You kissed Jennifer. You lead me on again just to watch me fall again."
"No. Thats not how it is at all. She kissed me but i pushed her away. And i couldn't leave until i told you everything i felt."
''What do you mean everything you felt?" I ask.
"Look. I want you to be mine, and inly mine Jayden Vanessa Wilson. I want to be the only one you have feelings for,the only one you call baby, the person you think of constantly. Despite what people say, you are and always have been the one for me, and i know there will be bumps in the road but i don't care. Being with you is all that matters."
"Aww'. But what happened?Why am i in the hospital?"
"The man came back, and raped you. And i will find him,and i will kill him this time."
"What did the doctors say?''
"They said you lost a lot of blood and they're running test for any STD's now."
It was that moment where the waterworks started.
Then all of a sudden i was wrapped in the best hug,and warmest/softest arms.
He climbed in the bed with me and stayed there all night.

When i woke up he was still there. He got up once the nurse came in.
She basically told me everything was fine ,that i don't have any STD's, and that i would have to take some medicineto regain the nutrients that i lost from the constant bleeding. Also that i could go home today.
About two hours later my brother came to bring me my clothes and to pick me up.
"Why didn't you tell me?" he spat out angrily.
"Tell you what?''
''Don't play dumb with me Jadyen."
"Seriously. I don't know what your talking about"
"why didn't you tell me you were almost raped the first time. All of this could have been avoided."
"Because i didn't want you to worry r get stressed out. I know you always have a lot on your mind"
''That doesn't mean i don't have time for you Jay. This type of thing is very important."
"I didn't think it was important."
"YOU COULD HAVE DIED, HOW COULD THIS NOT BE IMPORTANT?'' He demanded in a harsh,yelling tone.
he left before i could say anything and said Jo Jo would take me home and he needed to clear his mind.
The whole car ride was silent. Nothing but music interrupted the tension.
Ever since I told her Theo was only trying to get in her pants shes been upset with me.
"Im sorry for not believing you Jay. I really should have."
'What do you mean?" I asked in a worried tone.
"When we went on that date all he was talking about was my body and how he has a nice bed and that it would be even better with me in it."
"Oh that jerk!"
"Yea but ill see you tomorrow."
I just nodded and went in the house.
Once i got to my room i saw the most beautiful smile. He was sitting on my bed.
I looked out the window and saw it was locked.
"How you get in?" i asked curiously.
"Your brother." he answers.
he must have saw the puzzled look in my face because he asked what was on my mine.
"Im just wondering what we are."
'What ever you want to be."
"Its up to you." I argued
"No you."
''you.''
'' no you''
"fine," he said. while pulling me outside.
"Where are we going?'' I asked''
"To the park."
The moon was so pretty tonight. Nice and full.
"We cannot date because your still mortal,once you change you can.'' He explained when we got there.
''How does that happen"
''Im now sure. Its all about you."
We walked back after talking about random and thinking of old memories.
"And when you called mrs.pissner mrs.pissy!!" he said between laughs.
"Oh my flowers. You remember that?'
"Like it was yesterday."he said smugly.
we stared at the mall for a little bit.
''Well good night future Mrs. Jadyen Grant." He said with a confident smile on his face while we laid in the bed.
I chuckled. "You only hope so."
We layed there all night.
That is until about 2 o'clock when I had this uncontrollable urge.
I walked out onto the patio while Jordan watched, and did what i never knew i could do, and something i never thought i would do.
