| TIP #5 |
Well well well-
We all Ibis editors came across this situation at least once in our lifetime if I'm not wrong and let me tell you, I and many other amazing editors who you know uses Ibis comes across this on a daily basis.
Lagging and Crashing- the two most horrible situations while editing!
(For those who don't know- its not crashing someone's date or wedding XD)
Tbh these are 2 other top most problems for ibis users and most of us don't even know how to handle our situation, which leads to destroying our edits even sometimes.
I'll share few remedies or tricks that I myself follow to try to at least stop these things from happening on a daily basis.
Mind you- these are my way of preventing, this may not be useful for everyone cuz obviously the gadgets we use differs and that matters.
...
Lagging- this happens while editing. If you notice, then you'll know that it mostly happens while using bigger canvases of more than 3000x3000 and 2000x2000 (in px).
Sometimes also if you're working with too many layers at a time.
Mine even happens while using 'blur pen' and 'fx' options!
Another thing to notice is that- it mostly happens with old gadgets on a daily basis but not with new gadgets. I recently switched to my new phone (well I got my first phone :D) so I noticed this, it's totally a different experience!
So what's the remedy?
There's only 5. Here you go:
□ Always try to delete your old Ibis drafts after 6 months or a year. I mostly do it after each series. Ik it can be like losing a part of your journey, but instead before deleting them you can keep the PSD version of it in Google Drive.
