THE NEXT MORNING CAME rather quickly and Ronald and Donatella were found to be in a very deep conversation about chess.

"The Sicilian Defence is definitely not the best opening, Bilius," Tella rolled her eyes.

Ron snorted. "Oh but the Petrov's Defence is?"

She stared at him for a long time. "Of course it is! I have won every single game of chess with it!"

"Now that's just not true," Ronald said, although he sounded a bit unsure.

Before she had the chance to reply, Harry sat down next to Tella which made her want to throw up. "Good morning, love."

"Bad life, toe-rag," she stood up, walking towards her friends Theodore Nott, Blaise Zabini and Samuel Diggory.

"What are you doing at the Slytherin table? Snape'll throw a fit when he sees you," Blaise said.

Samuel scoffed. "Not bloody likely. He likes her. It's weird."

She rolled her eyes. "He's not fond of me, he just. . . He just doesn't hate me, because I, unlike you, actually respect my teachers."

The boys snickered. "Whatever you say, Donnie."

Samuel received a glare. "Never call me that again. Ever. Or I will murder you."

Theo let out a low whistle. "You heard the lady, Diggs."

Meanwhile Draco Malfoy stared at them with wide eyes. "You? You, Donatella Inej Black, best friend of Bloodtraitor Weaslbee and Mudblood Granger, are friends with superior Purebloods Nott, Zabini and Diggory? I must say, I'm impressed. Maybe you're not such a disappointment after all."

She glared at him. "Don't ever insult my friends again, Malfoy."

He scoffed, unimpressed. "Or what?"

"Or I will create a spell so dark, your soul will be sucked out, you'll start torturing yourself, start bleeding out, and die a long, painful and excruciating death." She stated in a dead serious tone.

He looked bloody frightened. "You should be locked up in Azkaban." And with that he left the Great Hall, but not before stopping at the Gryffindor table to make a snide remark about Harry.

After Hermione had told Donatella about what happened in Divination, she was quite glad that she hadn't taken the subject.

Professor McGonagall was telling the class about Animagi and most of the students weren't even watching when she transformed herself in front of their eyes into a tabby cat with spectacle markings around her eyes.

Donatella was the only one who enthusiastically clapped. "Purrr, Minnie! That was amazing!"

"Really, what has got into you all today?" said Professor McGonagall, turning back into herself with a faint pop, and staring around at them all. "Not that it matters, but that's the first time my transformation's not got applause from a class."

"What am I? The next door neighbor?" Donatella exclaimed dramatically.

"Oh shush! I meant everyone else." McGonagall smiled fondly at her. Donatella reminded Minerva strongly of her father, Sirius Black. Well, before he became a murderer, anyway. But in every other, and, in the best, way, of Cassiopeia Jones, Harry Potter's mother. Oddly enough, Donatella had more traits of Harry's mother than he had himself.
