Late Night Drive: Jeongin

It was currently 11 p.m. and you were cuddling with your boyfriend, Jeongin, in bed; lying on his chest and listening to his heartbeat. The two of you were watching a movie, in hopes of you getting tired and falling asleep.

 Recently, you had trouble sleeping, and would sleep for only a few hours or even none at all. You tried some melatonin, but it had only given you headaches. 

Looking down to check if you were sleeping, Jeongin sighed and stroked your hair when he saw you not looking tired at all. You sat up.

"You know, you can go to sleep. You shouldn't have to force yourself awake for me." You mumbled.

"I could, but that would make me a bad boyfriend." Jeongin chuckled. He sat up, turning off the laptop. "Obviously this movie is not helping you fall asleep at all. Let's do something else."

You sat up as well. "Like what?"

"Let's go for a drive." Jeongin said, getting up and kissing your forehead.

"Right now? How is that going to help?" You questioned, watching him walk around to get his keys and two coats for the two of you.

"Just trust me okay baby? It might be relaxing." 

You got out of bed, put on some slippers, and followed Jeongin into the car, where he held the door open for you to get in. 

Starting the car, Jeongin started to play a soft playlist that was extremely relaxing. Then he started to drive.

As the he drove into the city, the sight amazed you. Although you had always seen Seoul millions of times, the city was completely different at night. The dark night was light up by the city lights. In a way, it was relaxing.

Driving to no specific destination, you felt your body loosen-up, signaling you were starting to get sleepy. You felt Jeongin gently grab your hand, intertwining your fingers between each other's. 

Watching him drive with one hand was extremely attractive. Blushing, you turned your attention back to the lit up city. 

Jeongin began to sing to the songs on the playlist, soothing you. Soon, you felt yourself drift off into dreamland.

As Jeongin continued to drive, he stopped at a red light and looked over at you. To his surprise, he saw you sleeping peacefully. Smiling, he caressed your hand with his thumb, and began to slowly drive home, humming softly on the way back. 

When you had arrived home, Jeongin make sure to close his car door softly, and gently carried you from the car, making sure you didn't wake up. Thankfully, you were in deep sleep since you didn't get a proper sleep in weeks. 

Placing you carefully onto the bed, Jeongin took off your shoes and tucked you in. He then got in next to you, wrapping his arms around your waist. 

Watching you sleep peacefully, he smiled and kissed your forehead before drifting off to dreamland himself.
