It has been two years since the darkness has made its way to the lands of Sky.
But luckily not every place is infected with the darkness and its creations.
While the most monsters are in the Forgotten Wastelands, here in the Valley it is rather quiet.

Snow was falling from the sky.
The surroundings of the citadel were all covered with the soft white snow.

On the top of one tower, a young Sky kid was sitting and was watching the sunset.
The wind calmly moved his spikey haircut, while his eyes were focused on the sunset. The view was so beautiful, that at first sight it seemed like a painting.
The clouds were small and seemed to disappear in the colorscheme of the sky. It was like a firework of orange, yellow and red. The kid always came here to think or sort his emotions when he needed to be alone.
Only his best friends knew he would be here if they could not find him.

"Remmie? Are you here?", a female voice suddenly started speaking.
"I can see you up there Rem. Come down here", said the voice.
"Yes yes I am coming", Rem answered and slowly stood up. After a bit of stretching he removed the snow from his clothing and glided down to his friend, using his magical cape of light.

"What's wrong Wen?", Rem asked after standing in front of the small girl.

"You cant just always disappear without a warning Rem! You will catch a cold if you stay here so long!", she said and grabbed Rems arm, pulling him down to check his temperature. "You know how dangerous too much cold is!"
"Calm down Weny. I am careful."
"No you aren't. You never are!", she said, stemming her fists in her hips and looking up to her friend with a judging expression.
"How long have you been here now?", she then asked.
"Should I be honest, or tell you what you wanna hear?", Rem asked, with a bright grin in his face.
"Okey. Now come home Remmie! We have work to do. Adventures are waiting! And Aria brought us fresh potatoes!", Wen said and Rem had to smirk. "Yeah okey. Let's go."
The girl looked proud at her friend, grabbed his hand with energy "yes lets go!", she said and started flying back to the home island while still holding Rems hand, dragging him after her and forcing him to fly aswell.

"Hey Weny. Any news?", Rem asked on their way.

There was a moment of silence.
"No Rem. Not really. Still the same like every day. But don't worry Rem. Together we can bring back the light."

"I hope you are right. But I think this will be much more intense than we ever imagined."
