Tommy was ecstatic

He didn't know what luck had been on his side This very morning but nevertheless, he was absolutely grateful.

It had been another simple sunny morning and Tommy had just been scrolling through his phone when he received a Dm. Tommy wasn't one to ignore a Dm, even if most of the time it was uninteresting and just spam. Curious, he clicked on it to see what kind of meme or video his subscribers felt was funny this time, expecting nothing out of the ordinary. As he quietly hummed to a song Wilbur had introduced to him a few hours before.

However when Tommy saw who had messaged him, his eyes grew with shock and surprise. He was filled with disbelief. Pausing to reread the sender's name over and over again to make sure he was not hallucinating. He couldn't believe it, this was actually happening.

It was Dream.

As in the Dream who had at least 10 million subscribers. The Dream who was super well-known for his ghost hunting videos.

This was absolutely unexpected, leaving Tommy more confused than ever. Tommy silently wondered what Dream wanted from him, he was not anyone famous Or relatively well-known.

It wasn't like he was messaging random YouTubers just to say hello.

Turns out he was,

Tommy stared blankly at his phone, taking in the message, his excitement rising and he had to remind himself not to wake Toby up.

Hey, This is Dream and i'm finding a few ghost hunting YouTubers or streamers such as myself for a collab.

And your most recent stream caught my eye. I happen to live near the town you're in right now.

Do you want to meet up at a nearby cafe this afternoon? I'll be there, i hope you will drop by.

Tommy looked around the house, the gears in his head turning. Sure, if the oh so famous Dream was nearby, who in the right mind would give up the chance to meet him in ever. This could be a one-time opportunity and Tommy was not going to throw it away.

Looking back at the messages, he noted the cafe was pretty close and he had seen it when walking through the small town the other day.

Getting up from his comfortable spot on the sofa, he started to look for his favorite red and white T-shirt, If he was going to meet Dream, he was going to make a good impression and a hell of a good one too.

-----

The cafe bell rang as Tommy walked in, the booths were mostly filled and as Tommy walked around, he spotted a familiar green hoodie.

''Sticking to the brand huh?'' Tommy said before realising that he in fact had said it out loud.

''Huh? Oh yeah...'' Dream replied letting out a soft chuckle as he noticed his own black mask, decorated with a simple smiley face.

'' I mean, it's easy when your brand is literally a smiley face.'' He paused, looking at Tommy before raising his eyebrows at him.

''How about you? The red and white T-shirt, Do you wear it everywhere you go?''

Tommy stared blankly, was the T-shirt a brand? Sure, he wore it a lot but he didn't expect it to be one of the first things People think of wheny hear his name.

"Come on, i'm just joking" Dream Said, gesturing Tommy to take a seat.

''Are you going to order anything? We are at a cafe after all'' Dream mused, pointing to the menu that laid on the booth's tabletop.

''Eh, why not?'' Tommy shrugged before grabbing the menu and flipping through it like it was a magazine. ''Uhh...the pancakes maybe?''

"sure"

-----

Tommy looked across the table at the wheezing man with concern.

Was he having a seizure? He had laughed pretty hard in some of his videos before but this time he seemed like he was straight up gasping for air.

''Tommy, you're a funny guy'' he finally let out, wiping tears from the corners of his eyes, his face almost pink from all of the laughter.

''Well, it was nice meeting you Tommy, I got something else on today so I won't delay you any longer.'' Dream said, looking out of the cafe windows as the sky started to darken. Confused, Tommy looked down at his watch and to his surprise, it was getting a little late.

''Same here, I should get going too...Thanks for meeting with me'' Tommy said smirking, as he thought about how jealous Toby would be when he heard about this.

''Sure anytime, Talk to you later?''

''Anything big man Dream!'' He announced, catching a few keen looks from the patrons around his table booth. "

As Tommy made his way towards the door, He heard Dream call out, ''Hey Tommy, do you happen to have any older siblings?''

Deciding against yelling across the cafe, He simply shook his head. Dream soon returned a thumbs up and Tommy stepped out the doors and into the cool evening winds.

He let out a soft sigh, enjoying the breeze before making his way to the nearby arcade where Toby suggested to meet at a good thirty minutes ago.

Dream was a nice guy, surely Toby would understand

---------

Toby was not happy

Turns out he had gotten bored of waiting for him and decided to wander around the arcade.

When Tommy had first burst into the arcade, he was expecting Toby to be at the entrance. He genuinely braced for his 'annoyed Toby look' but it never came.

He'll look for Toby himself He decided, walking around until he saw a group crowding around near the back. Immediately noticing a small crowd watching a 'Just Dance' Game. Curious about who managed to spark the interest of so many people, He moved towards them.

Pushing a few people aside, he finally managed to see what the commotion was about.

Lo and behold, it was tubbo, who was dancing aggressively, eyes glued to the screen determined to win. His dancing was more like violent stomps and jumps that Tommy only could assume it was either an attempt at intimidating his challenger or Toby had generally lost it.

While his opponent, a tall man with a black and white mask, continued to dance, his body wiggling like a blow up balloon at a car dealership openings. He was doing pretty surprisingly well too.

Tommy would have yelled out to him but if Tommy knew one thing, it was never to mess with Toby, especially if he's concentratesd on something.

The game went on for about another twenty minutes before finally ending and it was mostly probably because Toby's opponent decided maybe dancing to the day he died was not how he wanted to go.

As soon as the music stopped, Toby dropped down panting with exhaustion.

''Tommy?''

''Yes?''

''TOMMY!''

''Hi... Toby''

''WHERE WERE YOU??''
