"What do you mean?" Chaeri mumbled eyes widening.

"I-I can't do this." Ryujin sat up followed by Chaeri.

"W-why?" The older shuttered. "I just can't-"

"Is it because I delayed the answer for so long?"

"What?No!"

"Did your feelings for me fade?"

"No Chae Nothing like that"

"Then why?" Chaeri asked hands trembling now. "It is complicated." Ryujin mumbled.

Chaeri grabbed the younger's hand. "You know you can say to me right? I will try to understand...."

Ryujin looked hesitant. "There isn't anything. " Ryujin stood up getting of the bed now her own heart thumping.

"It doesn't make sense Ryu! You were the one asking me for a reply so long !!!"

"Yes I did!! It is just complicated!!"

"What is so complicated you can't even give me a reason why Ryu! Did I do something wrong! Did you find someone else?" Chaeri's eyes were tearing up now. "Was this all for fun cause I was playing hard to get and now I confess you don't want me anymore!!"

"No Chaeri I like you too, I didn't do anything for Fun. I was serious about everything."

"Then why is it a No?"

"I can't accept it Chae."

"Give me a reason."

"I can't!!"

"What does that even mean?!"

"Understand Chae please."

"I can't understand if you don't say anything!! I gave you my reason as to why I said I needed time!!! "

"Chae No-"

"Give me a reason or get out of here!" Chaeri didn't care if she was being sensitive. She hated getting closer to people in general.

The fear of people leaving her was soo much starting from her childhood.

Her grandparents to Taehyung to her dad to Mom and few other people whom she believed to be her friends. The fear of abandonment is something she grew with. And she couldn't help but get sensitive over things like this. She would rather not get along with someone than face a disappointment when they aren't with you anymore later.

Ryujin's eyes widen at the older who had tears rolling down her cheeks. It was probably the first time she saw the older cry apart from the fight with Taehyung.  Her whole body shaking in an obvious way of fear.

Ryujin gulped down and shut her eyes trying to not breakdown. No she can't say her. Chaeri will leave her forever.

No having the dare to look at the girl, Ryujin looked away and walked to the door opening it. Eyes widening.

Minho stood there equally shocked. His eyes went from Ryujin's teary ones to Chaeri's who look so broken her eyes on Ryujin.

Ryujin didn't hesitate to walk past the male who saw Ryujin leave the house and Chawri sir on the bed crying her eyes out.
