y/n thoughts were racing. She'll hate me if I ask, so I won't. y/n didn't know why asking their (very tall) lover to cuddle was such a daunting task and Alcina had reassured them multiple times that it was ok and that she actually enjoyed cuddling. So why were they getting so worked up? Before y/n knew it they could feel the walls closing in on them and the way their arms and feet went numb, with each breath faster than its predecessor.
"Hey it's alright I'm here." Alcina said to y/n voice laced with concern. y/n panic was halted by Alcina's voice. Alcina started to rub circles on y/n back till their breath had become calmer and their legs had become more stable. After Alcina had asked y/n if they were ok, she picked up y/n and sat down in a chair placing y/n on her lap facing y/n towards her, and running a hand through their hair while they calmed down a bit more.
"What caused this darling?" Alcina's voice sounded out through the room, sounding as though it were made of silk.
"Um... just some thoughts." y/n said, voice breaking in the middle of their sentence.
"What were your thoughts about?" Alcina asked, tilting her head to the right slightly.
"Welliwasscaredtoaskifyouwantedtocuddlecausewhatifyoudidntwanttoandicameoffas-" y/n was cut off by Alcina.
"Darlin' I'm not going to be mad cause you wanted to cuddle." Alcina then flashed y/n the softest smile they have ever seen. "How does sleep sound? You look exhausted" y/n nodded their head, they were worn out from the previous event. y/n knew their lover couldn't sleep (an effect of being a vampire) and would just lay there with them. Alcina picked up y/n name and walked over to their shared bed. When the bed was within reach, Alcina pulled back the covers and placed y/n on the bed, then she pulled the covers back over y/n. Alcina walked over to the other side of the bed and got into the bed. Alcina pulled y/n's body to flush against her torso and made sure y/n was comfortable. After a few minutes of fighting off sleep, y/n had started to doze off in the safety of their lover's arms.
