Y/N POV

I awoke the next morning. I was confused for a moment about where I was. I looked and saw my face was inches away from Technoblades head. You see, my body must have some kind of instinct to cling to anything while I sleep. So there I was, clinging to Technoblade. I basically screeched and shoved him off the bed.

"YOU CREEP! WHY ARE YOU LAYING IN THE SAME BED AS ME?" I shot up, blush spreading from ear to ear. Technoblade grumbled and got up.

"I-I'm sorry, I was exhausted and I guess I didn't really think about it." He stumbled over his words. I punched him in the shoulder. "You're a total creep, you pig," I grumbled and walked outside. That was the worst thing ever.

Timeskip

It had been about a week since Technoblade had found me. I was stable now, back to my healthy self. I had informed Technoblade that I was leaving today. I had sent a letter to Tubbo and Quackity, requesting a meeting. I received one back, stating that Quackity would meet me just outside L'manburg. As I was starting to leave, Technoblade grabbed my shoulder. "I'm going with you." He wouldn't take no for an answer. I sighed and rolled my eyes, continuing to walk, trying my best to ignore him. We walked in silence for the most part. For some reason, a very small part of me wanted to stay, thank Technoblade for his kindness. Not really, though.

Eventually, the beautiful country was in sight, and quackity stood a few feet away from it.

Technos POV

I had escorted Y/N to their meeting with Quackity. They slowly approached him once we got there, and I couldn't hear their conversation from my hiding spot behind the tree. I saw Y/N clasp their hands together, I could only assume they were begging.

Y/N POV

"Please Quackity, allow me to come back home." I was practically begging. I cringed at the look of disgust on Quackitys face. "please."

"Never. You're a dirty traitor." He grabbed the collar of my shirt, throwing me onto the cold floor. "You reek of that filthy pig. You best be thankful I haven't killed you." He growled and stood over me, sending a kick into my stomach. Please god not this again. Where was Technoblade when he could actually help?

Technoblades POV

That's it. I grabbed my netherite axe and walked over silently. I shoved Quackity backwards and stood between them. "They're with me." I pushed Quackity to the floor and helped Y/N up. "You're a cruel person Quackity." I glared at him, my red eyes creating a threatening aura from under my mask. "I should kill you, right now. You're lucky I don't. I understand that you will not allow them in, but allow them to gather their belongings." I looked back at Y/N, tears streaming down their face. Quackity reluctantly nodded and escorted Y/N to their home. A few minutes later they returned, Y/N with a large leather bag containing Y/N's belonging.

"Never show your face here again, you filthy traitor." Quackity snarled at her and turned away, heading back to L'manburg. I looked over to her weak form. She fell to her knees, sobbing. Her tears stained the floor beneath her. I pitied her. I don't know why, but I wanted to do anything to comfort her. I kneeled, setting my axe to the side. I wrapped my arms around her small form, pulling her towards me. To my surprise she didn't fight back, she just laid there limply, quietly sobbing. After a few minutes, she pushed me away, standing up. She had finally calmed down. I followed after her as she trudged her way back towards the cabin.

Y/N POV

Feelings swirled inside of me. One moment I was angry, the next moment I was sobbing. I thought maybe, just maybe I would be allowed to come back. But now here I was, stood in front of the cabin I had been residing in for the past week or so. I sat down on the stairs, tossing my bag of belongings onto the floor. Why? I rubbed my temples, trying to calm myself down. I buried my head between my knees until I felt a hand grasp my shoulder. Technoblade looked down at me sympathetically. "Let's get you inside, why don't we?" I groaned and stood up, grabbing my belongings. It was warmer inside. I threw my stuff down on the floor and trudged over to the bed. You were surprised Technoblade still let you stay here despite how bratty you were. I stared at the piglin as he grabbed a few pieces of wood and started up the stove. He pulled out a large pot and a few vegetables from what we harvested from the garden. He had made food for us before, and I kind of felt bad for not helping. And well.... his food was very plain. I walked over and stood next to him, putting a sizeable amount of distance between us.

"Hey, your food is crap. Let me make it." Techno was surprised at the assertiveness. I snatched the cooking utensils from his hand. The vegetables were already cut and prepared, so I began adding them to the broth. I was angrily stirring the stew. My best food came with my wrath. After about 15 minutes, the stew was done. I poured it into two small bowls, handing one to Technoblade. "You're shit at cooking, pig." You sat down across the room from him, silently sipping on my soup. The flavour was very strong, but not too much. I watched as the piglin took one sip of the soup, and then continue to scarf down the soup, the lip of the bowl colliding with the bone mask clasped onto his face. His mask intrigued me. I've never seen it off. You had no idea what his face really looked like. Not that you cared. Eventually, you would find your own place, and you wouldn't need to rely on anyone. Once we were both done, he cleaned the bowls. The rest of the day was spent cleaning up.

Timeskip

It had been two days since we had visited L'manburg. I'm going, to be honest, it wasn't horrible staying here. His bed was the most comfortable thing I've ever felt, although I felt slightly guilty as he was sleeping at his desk or on the floor.

I was spending most of my time outside today. When we visited L'manburg, I am glad I grabbed my sword. I spent most of my time practising my stances and attacks. I heard footsteps behind me and swung around, placing my sword against the Piglins neck.

"Your form is horrible." He chuckled and before I knew it, he pulled out his sword and had disarmed me.

"Oh yeah? Then why don't you show me, Your Highness." I bowed sarcastically. Technoblade rolled his eyes and grabbed his sword, demonstrating a stance that provided more mobility and protection. I attempted to replicate it, but I was sloppy and unbalanced. The piglin sighed and dropped his sword. He stood behind me, leaning into me and grabbing my arms and shoulders, guiding me. The feeling of his warm, calloused hands gently guided me made me feel so warm like I was safe. 'Wait, what am I thinking?' I repressed those feelings and followed his hands. My stance was still a bit unbalanced, but it was a bit better.

"Hey, why don't we spar?" The piglin suggested, picking up his sword and wiping the snow off of it.

"Sure, if you want to get your ass handed to you," I smirked and started to position myself. Technoblade laughed and stood a few feet across from me.

"A few rules. No fatal injuries. To win you must either knock your opponent down or disarm them. That's it." I nodded as he listed off the rules. "And with that, let us begin."

I made the first move. I ran forwards, my sword clashing with his. Every attempt at an attack was met with the forceful push of his own sword. It felt as if we were dancing to nonexistent music. Every move seemed coordinated. It was so graceful. The clashing of our swords created their own music. I pushed against him, but his strength was almost overwhelming. It felt like that day the butcher army had attacked him. I could remember it vividly, his cold axe pressed against the thin skin of my neck. Why hadn't he just beheaded me there and then? It was really confusing. I got lost in my thoughts, and the next thing I knew, my sword was tossed aside, and I was on the floor, Techno's boot gently resting on my chest.

"You were distracted." He grunted and sheathed his sword, helping me up. "That won't do you any good in a real fight." I brushed snow off of my clothes. I shivered, my clothes now drenched from the white powder. Techno chuckled lightly and started heading back off to the cabin. "You're a good fighter, Y/N." He turned around as he complimented me.

"You too, pig," I grunted and followed him, sighing in relief at the warmth of the cabin. Maybe I could get a bit used to this.
