Early the next day, isha woke up her eyes swollen. She doesn't sleep well last night. She was thirsty so she decided to go downstairs to get some water. Suddenly, she met her uncles: Haris and Moses just entered the house. She smiled broadly. "uncles why are you here early at this time?" She asked suspiciously because it's unusual for them to come to the house even in the daytime." I hope everything is alright." she added.
"Come on my beautiful Isha." Said Haris touching her cheeks. "It's just something important that brought us here at this time but don't worry about it my dear."
"How is your studies?" Moses spoke for the first time. "I hope you are doing your best as usual."
"It's fine. I'm sorry I even forgot to greet you people. Silly me." She laughed and feel shy.
"Good morning uncles."
"Good morning my child."
"Good morning princess."
Just then zeeshan rushed and hugged them.
"I Missed You so much uncles." said zeeshan. They all hugged him affectionately.
"Isha why are you not ready for school? Don't you have lectures today?"
"No, i have I'm preparing to leave and of course exam is around the corner maybe next week or so."
"Okay, I wish you all the best." said Moses.
They entered her father's room and she went to the kitchen.
Just some few minutes later, she came to pass by her father's room and she heard the conversation that is taking place in his room so she hesitated.
"I told you that if you keep on saying that Isha should leave your house we're going to let our father know about it." Said Haris threatening him.
"And I am very much sure that you know what he will do." added Moses.
"Why are you treating this little innocent girl like this? I really don't know what is wrong with you." Said Moses angrily. "She looked thinner when I looked at her today why because you are despising her. I pity this little girl seriously."
"If not because our father stopped me i could have take her to my house." said Moses glaring at Mr Omar.
"We're talking but you kept quiet and kept looking at us why?" shouted Haris.
"It's okay." Omar sighed . "she won't leave this house but please don't tell father about this." He pleaded.
Isha ran into her room feeling excited that at least dad won't throw her out of the house. She closed her eyes smiling and thanking God.
"Why are you lying down on the bed at this time? It's already 7:30Am." Said Asma shaking her.
Isha stood up and started preparing for school. She met her mother while she was ready for school.
"Ahh! You are finally ready for school?" Said seema smiling at isha. Isha was so happy to see her mother smiling today. What a lovely day! Maybe she heard what dad said today. Thought Isha.
"Yes mom! I'm going." She said while giving her mother a slight hug and she went away.
When she arrived at school that day, she was happier than ever even Amal noticed it.
"Hey madam!" Amal winked at her. "What's going on today? Why are you smiling like that? I realized that you are super excited today like someone who is going to get married very soon" Amal teased her and they laughed.
"Haha! You are so funny Amal."
"Tell me"
"It's nothing at all."
"Oh really? I know there is something."
"Amal! See it's almost ten o'clock and I want you to escort me to Mr Hamid office please, can you?" Said Isha finally trying to avoid the other discussion though she never keep any secret away from Amal. She always shared everything with her even all that's happening at her home because amal is not only her bossom friend but also a trusted friend.
"No problem." said Amal "let's go and buy water first please i'm really Thirsty."
Isha and Amal knocked on the door several times but there is no response. They concluded that Mr Hamid isn't around so they made to leave just then they heard someone trying to open the door. Mr Hamid open the door and stared at them for some times.
"Good morning sir." they said in unison.
"Come in." he said and went back to the office while they followed him.
"Sit down." he commanded. They were surprised and looked at each other.
"Thank You sir." They said and sat down on the chairs.
He was busy marking the tests so he didn't talk to them for about thirty minutes until they became worried and disappointed.
After long time, he raised his head and stared at them as if he is reasoning something.
He then dropped his pen and papers aside.
"I think you are the one that i said you should meet me here in the office right? So what brought this one here?" he asked Isha pointing at Amal.
"Yes sir, actually... I...I... Yes she... She just escorted me." Isha stammered.
"Walk out." He said to Amal showing her the door.
Amal stood up immediately and leave. he then turned back to isha who sat like an idol looking at the floor as if she's searching for something.
"What's your name?"
"My name is Aisha Omar."
"How old are you?"
"I'm 17 years old."
Mr Hamid looked at her very well while she's answering his questions. He was just nodding like a lizard.
"I think you are matured enough to know that nothing can be done without something in return." He stated while removing his eye glass.
"And I want to you to know that I am ready to help you as long as you are ready to help yourself."
"Okay sir, i'm ready to give you whatever you asked for." Said isha looking anxious.
Mr Hamid smiled looking at her.
"Everything? Are You sure?"
"Yes sir."
He nodded.
"I want you to give it to me once and I will give you your full marks. You don't need to even sit for the exam and this should be confidential okay?" Explained Mr Hamid looking at Isha lustfully.
"Okay, but sir i'm totally confused I mean I don't understand what you meant by 'giving it to you once' " she said bewilderedly.
He grinned mischievously. "I'm sure you know what I mean 'cause you are not a kid." He stood up and went to the window peeping through it.
"When you come, you will see what I meant." He said and spat.
Isha was agitated to hear this. She was trying to comprehend what she just heard. Before she try anything else Mr Hamid interrupted. "I want you to to come and meet me at mashar hotel located at sabon gari tomorrow at 5 o'clock in the evening."
"What?" Isha retorted. He can't hear her but he could see the way her lips moved slowly.
What is he saying? I think my ears are playing with me. I can't believe this. What does he mean? I think I am dreaming."
"You can leave." She heard him saying. She raised her eyes and looked at him while he's pointing at the door.
Yeah it's real i am not dreaming.
"I said you should leave my office. You can meet me when you made a decision."
She stood up slowly and walked to the door. Her legs seem to be too heavy for her. She met Amal standing outside waiting for her. Amal was shocked to see her friend crying. She tried to speak to her but isha couldn't listen. She kept on crying and finally made her way to the school entrance still sobbing.
