Trudy's POV

"You never stopped thinking out loud huh?" I looked over to the person who said that, uncle Peter. I ran over to him and practically launched myself at him. He laughed and caught me before engulfing me in a long awaited hug. "Okay, I'm done, what the hell Echo!" The human yelled, grabbing my attention. I'd had enough of his yelling in my pack house, I stormed over to him and glared, the Hale glare. "What is with you and yelling at my entire pack!" I nearly screamed at him at that point.

Maybe I was being a slight hypocrite, I was yelling too, but he was human, and only there is a couple of humans allowed in the pack house, the guy here is not one of them. "You're yelling at me!" The human said, how old is he again? Five?

"How old are you? You're acting more childish than me, and you're a grown up!" I nearly started laughing at him, "Whatever, who is the ex boyfriend, why is he so adamant, why do you have three children with him and" His voice cracked at the end, tears welling up in his eyes, "Why don't you love me anymore?" His voice was quiet but clear. Mom put a hand on his shoulder and sighed, "Max...I- I'm not really sure I ever did love you in the first place"

Max looked heartbroken. "Werewolves, we have soulmates, they could be human, werewolf, banshee, Japanese spirit, whatever it is. And we can only love them after the moment that we've met them. It doesnt matter how many times you've fought, how many drunk mistakes they might make when in the wrong frame of mind...or when grieving, you'll always love them, no matter what" Mom looked towards Dad as his eyes turned glassy.

"I have three beautiful children with my soulmate, and there's nothing that can ever break us apart. My soulmate is Derek Hale, and I will always love him" My Dad ran over to mom and engulfed her in a kiss, it was beautiful to see, as they were obviously not on good terms at all. Max has tears spilling down his cheeks, "So that's it then?!" Mom pulled away from Dad and gave Max and sympathetic look, "Yes Max, its over" He turned around to leave when a small voice stopped him.

"Daddy, where are you going?" It was Ace, he looked like he could burst into tears at any given moment, Max bent down to him, "I have to go away for a while" Ace opened his mouth to protest, "And I dont want you to be sad about it, you have Mommy and Derek to look after you" Ace looked past Max to see where Mom and Dad were standing, Mom with her glassy eyes and Dad with his hard stare. "Where is Sylvie?" Ace asked. The small girl from before came bounding upto him and engulfed him in a hug.

"Hi Aceeee!" The girl squealed, slightly too high for a were wolf's ears, making the majority of the people in the room cringe.
