Hello again and welcome back to my story. I hope you all enjoy and thank you for reading

Arthur's POV

The last thing I could remember was being dragged down off the edge of the cliff as my mother tried to save me. I blacked out half way down thinking how short that this life had been compared to my previous one. It was a shame but I couldn't do anything about it.

I woke up expecting to be in the afterlife or whatever happened next but was confused as I was in a large forest. It took me a few seconds to realise that I was still alive as I could feel the after effects of expending my limited mana core with a fatigue and large amounts of pain throughout my body.

After letting the pain subside, I got up and checked the surrounding area for any threats whilst noticing the dead bandit close to me as he evidently did not survive the fall. I then began wondering who saved me until a voice entered my head.

"I saved you" the unknown voice said.

"Oh, who are you" I asked.

"You don't seem surprised that I'm talking to you in your head" the unknown voice said with a hint of shock at this humans level of calm.

"Well I've had someone in my head before so it doesn't come as a great shock and I can tell you don't have any malicious intent otherwise you could've just let me die" I responded.

"I see, well since you are here then you might as well come to my place unless you plan on sleeping outside for the night" the unknown voice said.

"W-well then, it seems I must, but first can you give me directions mister" I said with an embarrassed face.

The unknown voice chuckled before showing me the direction in which to travel. I left to face this unknown figure.

Sung-Jin woos POV

We continued our journey in a solemn mood as Alice continued sobbing in the corner. Everyone else had crestfallen faces until we reached the gate that would teleport us to xyrus city, which meant that the twin horns would separate from us.

After the brief comfort from them they left us as we went into the portal and appeared onto a floating city. We were greeted by a carriage in decorated jewels that took us to a large estate. I looked out the window to see the primitive buildings of this city whilst wondering how they managed to get a city up in the air.

We then met the owners of the estate who are friends of Rey from his time as an adventurer and the heads of an auction house. Vincent Helstea, Tabitha Helstea and their daughter Lilia Helstea. I noticed that lilia's age was around the same as Arthur's to which I saw the struggle on Alice's face at this and how she was close to breaking down.

We went inside as we began discussing on what to do for the future and they comforted Rey and Alice at the loss of their son. The sun set as we left to our rooms to sleep, I entered mine and began scanning the surrounding area. I saw that Vincent and Tabitha where in bed and Alice was crying on the edge of their bed as Rey had his head lowered with drops of tears falling from his eyes.

I sighed as I thought if I should tell them that he is alright, I decided against it as that would create an unnecessary situation and ruin the timeline. I then began to sense for Arthur's position and noticed him in an isolated area between the beast glades and the forest of Elshire, I also noticed another being with him that caught my attention due to the fact that it wasn't any of the three races. It reminded a little of Antares except for being less than a fraction as strong.

For curiosity's sake I opened a portal leading there in order to see this creature and give it a warning.
