Hello again all and welcome back to my story. Thank you all for reading.
8 years later
Sung-jin Woos POV
For the last five years I had been mostly spending my time in the beast glades hunting S rank beasts, well by hunting I mean killing instantly, or at home with everyone else. I was getting bored of hunting now because all it required was a flick and they were gone.
I decided though to return home though because it had been about a year since I had seen everyone and you can only gather so much information from your soldiers. After Beru had finished his world tour the information I received about the other continents in the world, learning that they are much more advanced then Dicathen.
I started to make my way back to the portal that would lead me to xyrus city when I saw a black dragon fly over my head into a certain direction. Intrigued, I followed it until I reached a dungeon, I was confused as to why a dragon fly toward a dungeon and went in. After going deeper through the dungeon I saw that there were signs of people entering due to the triggered traps and battle signs as well as the fresh blood.
I went deeper and deeper until I reached where the black dragon went and saw what looked and felt like a dead S rank monster. I turned my head to see a few familiar faces that looked badly wounded.
"Hey Art, hey jasmine" I said as they spun around to see my cheerful face.
Arthur's POV
"Uncle Jin woo?" I said at the familiar figure that walked in.
"Why are you here?" I asked him with confusion as to why he was in the dungeon.
"I was walking back to xyrus until I saw a black dragon fly above me so I followed it and saw you" he responded with that cheery smile still on his face.
"Seems that your in bad shape" he said returning to his usual solemn face before walking towards me and talking out a bottle and a flask of water before adding a drop of the unknown liquid to the flask and handing it to me. "Drink it" he said.
I looked at it suspiciously before noticing the intense mana coming out of it and took a mouthful and swallowing it. The pain in my body subsided rapidly as I could feel my dry mana reserves filling rapidly and back up to its full capacity. I could feel my mana core breaking through as I suppressed it so I didn't break through here and cause unnecessary damage.
"What was that?" I asked whilst noting how he handed the flask to jasmine and watching her health return to her.
"The holy water of life diluted into water" he replied as confusion filled me again at the item which I had never heard of before.
"Well now that you are all alright how's about we head home?" He said before helping me up.
We all left the dungeon to the open sunlight as I basked in its heavenly warmth thinking that I wouldn't see it again. We walked toward the end of the large forest encountering low level monsters on the way which quickly turned into piles of blood when they came close to us. I sighed at the way he dealt with the monsters that would be other adventurers source of income before realising that he is S ranked and probably doesn't care.
After a few hours of walking we reached the end of the beast glades and saw the portal that would lead to xyrus city. Uncle Jin woo payed the appropriate amount and we entered the portal to home. After exiting the portal we took a carriage back to the Helstea estate whilst I suddenly realised that the ring which would sense if I was close to death had shattered meaning that my parents one had shattered as well. I sighed at the thought of the lecture I'll have when we get back.
