Chapter 4 | The Raven's View And Investigation

This will probably be...Levi's POV mostly? Or it's just full of Levi's POV.

Chapter 4
[ The Raven's View And Investigation ]

Levi's POV:

It's still night, and I cannot fall asleep. I just listen to the silence...
Maybe I can read a book, Yeah...Maybe that seems like a great idea.

I walk to shelf to grab a book to read. Which one should I pick...Most of them are just romance novels or so, "Loving You" seems like a pretty interesting book...I'll read it.

I read the book for a good maybe fifty minutes, when I suddenly felt thirsty. I walk to my desk and grabbed my water bottle, As I drank, I noticed something..

There was somethi- someone. I looked into the figure a little more, but all I could guess was that their one of the Servants, were wearing brown boots, and that they are heading somewhere.

I got quite curious, so I took a coat and quickly covered myself in one. I followed them, quietly.

They went to the exit, I continued to follow them...

I have memorized the path back, so I continued to follow the person. Following them was quite difficult..but I managed,

I was getting tired and irritated, so I was about to head back until I realized...This person went to the Palace...I started questioning why and how can they just let them enter!?

One of the Servants...is part of the Royal Family? Who could it be? And why were they pretending to be some servant? Are they up to no good?

I ran back to the mansion, panting. I climbed to my room, plopped onto my bed, exhausted.

But then I started thinking about how one of the people I knew were part of the Royal Family. But then again, it's possible they probably needed to do something or say something...maybe even report something to the Royal Family...My mind needs to rest...

I feel...lik..e...I..should..sleeep..

I suddenly wake up and take a quick yawn, looking around. Right, I fell asleep... I remembered someone here possibly is Royalty or maybe has a connection or is acquainted with them... Whatever, I'll think about it later.

I head downstairs to prepare the breakfast since It's my turn today.

We finished breakfast, and now...toooo...wait...Now that I think about it, I haven't seen Roren yet today. Roren...Roren..Roren...

Where is he?

Why hasn't he been out yet?

Is he okay?

I gotta calm myself down...Maybe I should ask the other brats. I walk around, searching for one of the other servants. I finally found one of them, Krein. This Brat is useless too, but he might know where or what happened to Roren.

"Hey, you." I say. He looks at me, confused and somewhat shivering. "L-Levi...Uh..What..do you need...from me?.."

I look at him up and down, glaring at him after. "Where's Roren?" He looks at me, confused. "That loser hasn't gone out of his room... but I think I heard that he left a note saying he went out to buy something..so it's one of those two things." I rolled my eyes and left.

I walked over to Roren's room, knocking on the door when I arrived. There was no response...Until I heard a thud, someone finally opened the door.

Roren was looking at me, tired and...sweating? Why..?

"Hey Levi...Uh...Sorry, I um..had to buy something and just came back.." He said, panting. "I- It's fine, what did you buy anyway?" He looked around, and back at me. "Nothing much...just a few clothes...and..snacks, why..?" "Nothing, nothing..I gotta go clean the kitchen, because no one here cleaned it yet."

Roren nodded as I went to the kitchen to clean.

Why was he sweating? And panting...maybe It's because he ran when coming back.. that's possible. Now...about that person yesterday night, They were wearing brown boots. Maybe I can clean the rooms and see if any of them has brown boots similar to that person.

I finally finished cleaning the kitchen..so now I need to head to their rooms...

I found nothing after searching through all their rooms...The only one I haven't checked is Roren's...I- I wouldn't want to invade his privacy, but...I have a feeling I should check. I really hope it isn't him. Because if it is...Well, It would be possible he's just known by the Royal Family, not that he would be part of it instantly. But then again, He could be the Pri..n..ce...

No, no. That doesn't make sense anymore, Why would the Prince want to be a servant? Wouldn't the Prince want to be living the rich life and marry a princess? Seriously...this isn't making much sense, He could be known by the Royal Family..but not part of it...

Yeah, maybe it's just that, right? Roren couldn't possibly be part of the Royal Family of Shiganshina. Yup..just a person known by them, nothing much more.

I head to Roren's room, I checked everywhere.. and was slightly Glad that it wasn't him.

Wait...

What's that thing with a little shine under the cabinet?

I walk over to the cabinet, grabbing the thing under it. Brown boots!?..It looks exactly like the boots the person had...I put the boots back and checked the cabinet..It didn't seem like there was black clothes there, so I checked the curtains out of gut feeling. And I found black clothes folded right there.

I ran out of the room and went to mine, I sat at my bed.

Roren...is...the person.

It would make some sense...Is it possible that he is the Prince? Very few people have seen the Prince, and all it was about was that he had mesmerizing turquoise or maybe even teal eyes.

Roren has turquoise eyes...they are relaxing too. This...Maybe he just has similar features...Yup..similar features. I should probably follow him tonight, if he goes out.

I then head to the cleaning supplies to clean the floors once again.
