The Wrong Pair

We arrived at the place, it was amazing!! Jake was by my side, holding my hand, and as we glanced around, I noticed the golden confetti leading to an entrance, i could hear loud music echoing from the hall, Jake grinned at me as we opened the door to see the life at the party!

Everyone was dancing and cheering, I noticed we were a couple of minutes late,
" Would you like to dance, milady?" Jake said as he smirked at me

" Oh what a kind gentelman, you are!" I said chuckling.
" I find that as a yes?!" Jake said

I nodded my head as we danced together, the music was pounding loudly, I was having so much fun with Jake, there was a few looks here and their but its not like I care, Jake and I are together now and nothing can stop us...

Finally it was time to announce Prom King and Queen, I was excited, Could it be me?? I though to myself.

" Hello Students!! I hope you are having fun and you better be, we paid a lot for this, anyway I am now to announce Prom King And Queen!!" The principal shouted.

I grinned at Jake, he did back but something was wrong it was like he didn't want it, I wonder why??

" Prom King is Tyler Kinsman!!" The principal shouted.

Wait what, Tyler, but how?!

" And Prom Queen is Miss Haley Dunphy!" The principal shouted too.

WHAT! ME AND TYLER BUT HOW WHY WOULD EVERYONE VOTE US!!!

" Congrats!! Go on its okay I'm fine..." Jake said

I walked up to the stage as I smiled awkwardly I couldn't even look Tyker in the eye it was like he was excepting something from me, is he feeling well different after what happened?!

A crown was placed on my head, I could see Jake smiling at me, but knowing Jake something was up.

" Now the King and Queen must share a dance." The principal said.

I walked up to him, soft music was playing as everyone watched me, I could feel it. As the dance soon came to an end, everyone started to shout,
" KISS!KISS!KISS!KISS!"

My thoughts were running from my head
My palms were sweating
I felt a rush of panic go through me
But then I noticed Tyler going in for a kiss, I pushed him away.

" What's your problem, Tyler, one second your upset and now you want to fricking kiss me! I have a boyfriend and you of all people know that!!!" I screamed!!

Everyone started at me in amazement, people started whispering and muttering words.

" Its okay man, we are fine now just calm down." Tyler replied.

When I felt Tyler's hot air against my cheek...

" Ay ! Leave her alone, idiot! Jake shouted

" What you gonna do about it lover boy." Tyler said.

" Shut up Tyler!" I said

Tyler grabbed my arm and said,

" you will regret this.."

" GET OFF ME YOU JERK!" I shouted.

Then as I turned away I heard a grunt, Jake was on the floor...

" What is wrong with you!!!!!" I screamed

" Leave him Haley you can have a chance with me now." Tyler said

I slapped him across the face and  said,
" The only person I will ever love and be with is Jake, Tyler.." I said.

Tyler punched Jake one more time, I pushed him away, I was angry, so angry. Then through most unexpected thing happenned , Quinn appeared she shoved me onto the floor. And said,
" Leave my boyfriend alone Dunphy or are you going to steal him like you stole Jake!!" Quinn shouted

Boyfriend??! Are Quinn and Tyler together?! My ex best friend with my sworn enemy.

" Oh you look sad, so why don't you go back to your dumb parents, I'm sure they would give you up now!!!!" Quinn said.

I grudged myself to me but Jake was pulling me back, something to add in, my mum considered giving me up when I was younger considering she was 21 years old, but she kept me. Quinn has always known as her mum and my mum used to be best friends.

Jake let go of me and I gave up, I ran outside in tears, I walked in the rain all alone, remembering that same feeling I felt when I was younger, am I really loved?
