I often caught myself wondering why not me.

I was a jock. popular,hot and captain of the football team. For years I've been flirting with Clarke Griffin, and she always flirted back. Anyone could see I was the perfect match for her. But she didn't think about me the way I thought about her.

Only 2 days ago I was helping her after the breakup with Lexa. Over something silly.
I was good to her. Helping her through the tough times. When her dad passed, I was there as a shoulder to cry on, when my sister Octavia hated her after she lied to her, i chose Clarke over my own sister because I thought she was different. I was the only one who was there for her,
not Raven,
not her mom
and certainly not Lexa. I was here well before she was.

Monday 9:00am

On my way to Clarke's place, to take us up to school. I'm a bit early today,only a little though so she should be really.(I've been taking Clarke to school since Lexa and her broke up) Just a moment before I pulled up. Clarke runs inside to get her l something she forgot to grab . When I get here she comes out. She sits in the passenger seat as we drive to school. The car ride was quite. She was telling me about how she still likes Lexa because she understood her so well. We walk into school and headed to our classes. lunch was good (I've been leaving the boys to sit with Clarke for these past few days). Good until Clarke brought Lexa up, saying how she's gonna talk to her. I think what has she got that I don't.

I know this sounds creepy but I've been watching them, Clarke, her and brown haired Lexa Woods. Tying to figure out what Lexa has that I don't have

3 days of watching when I couldn't anymore, I needed to know. At lunch I asked her. What was so good that Lexa had that I don't. She says "don't you see how she treats me" I looked back into my mind to think what she meant. When I saw it.

I finally understand why not me.
