Can't stop that Beeduo angst grind..."Could you move, please?" Tubbo grumbled, shoving Ranboo to the side.
"Oh. Uh- sorry..." Ranboo stepped to the side and smoothed his hair out, "After you, I guess?"
Tubbo reached to open the door and glared at Ranboo, "Don't try to be a gentleman to me." He huffed.
Ranboo looked at the ground as Tubbo swung open the doors of the Snowchester mansion. His head snapped up at the sound of arrows hurling towards his head. Without thinking, Ranboo dived down and slammed him and Tubbo to the ground, the arrows barely whizzing past him, "Whoa!" He exclaimed, "Tubbo, you didn't put up any defense systems while I was gone, did you?"
Tubbo pushed Ranboo's arms off his face and frowned, "Nope. That's new." He cautiously stood up, anticipating more traps, "Someone's been here."
"Well, you haven't been here in two years sooo..." Ranboo muttered.
Tubbo's face hardened, "I would've come back if a certain person didn't make me move to Las Nevadas."
"That was never my fault, okay?" Ranboo defended, "You were the one who decided to take up the job with Quackity."
"But you left me here, so I had to move there." He countered, "And what were you doing with Will? It's L'manburg all over again!"
"No, it's not! We're just selling burgers!"
"Yeah, like we were selling cookies," Tubbo scoffed.
"You sold the cookie shop!" Ranboo protested, "And to Quackity of all the people! Do you know what he's done?"
"Well, you're no less! Wilbur Soot blew up my country! Do you know how much it hurts to see your husband working with your enemy?"
"Ex-husband," Ranboo grumbled, "All you cared about was easier taxes."
"That's not true at all! We helped each other!"
"Uh, most of the time you were wrapped up in L'manburg business, after that, you were just a sad man who never even bothered to check on his friends." Ranboo replied sassily, "And then you go and compete against me."
"I never wanted to compete, I just wanted something to do..."
"Well, you could've stayed here!" Ranboo said, "We could've been a family! But no! Because apparently, I wasn't good enough for you! So I hope you're enjoying your much happier life with Quackity in that-" a hatch opened beneath them that cut Ranboo off and sent them plummeting towards the ground. But before they could crash, they fell through a purple surface that transported them to a dark room.
Tubbo reached out to grab Ranboo's arm and pulled himself closer to him, "What the hell?!" He yelled, "Snowchester definitely didn't have that!"
Ranboo jumped at the sudden contact and moved his other hand around to feel for him, "Do you think someone set a trap?"
"Yeah, no shit." Tubbo grumbled, "But why Snowchester of all places? No one even goes there anymore."
"I don't know," a voice behind them spoke, "Maybe a certain someone had to defend themselves after being abandoned?" The figure grabbed a torch, illuminating his face. Half of his face looked torn apart, green dried blood crusted around an exposed part of his skull. He wore a torn denim jacket over a dark yellow sweater with brown torn-up shorts. His hair was tied back in a short ponytail by a strand of twine and he was covered in gold jewelry and piercings.
