Jungkook exhaled a breath minding out. Taehyung hesitatingly reheated his hands. "Are you okay?" Please, don't lie."Yes..." No one's gonna know. "And no need to pity me for anything. I can bear things on my own. You can go. I'll be ready tomorrow." He mumbled slowly as he felt his dry throat burnt each time he let out a word. The bitterness coated on his voice didn't match the soft face of his.
"Please, don't say that. I was worried about you. And I'm not pitying you for anything. You just need to accept that someone here likes to talk with you and try not to push them away, Jungkook." Taehyung shook his head hoping the words would knock some sense of this boy's unwelcoming world.
"I'm not going to fall for any of your words and leave. I'm not going to hurt you Jungkookie." The tenderness laced in his words came like a whisper of hope to the soul of an apprehensive person lost in a jumbled path for long. And it was ignored because of all of the illusionary meddle he has already crossed through.
"A new flash, I have heard those exact words before. And don't act as if you know me." He laughed half-heartedly at the sourness of his own words. They say the truth is bitter. Jungkook might admit he had a real taste of it.
Taehyung dropped his gaze, being at a loss of words. Whatever he tried to pull Jungkook seems to have an opposite belief of it, making him wonder how many negative clouds he had been bubbling up to cage himself like that, so now that the extended hands look like chains to him.
Jungkook signed, making his tiny frame stand when the sudden daze attacked him with dizziness. He held his head with his hand and tried to find a wall for support.
Taehyung's eyes enlarged and he pulled Jungkook so that he wouldn't fall but that caused him to land on his lap.
"You have been starving yourself, haven't you?" Taehyung said, wrapping a hand around his slim curve of waist pulling him closer.
"What are you doing?" Jungkook said resting his head on Taehyung's crook of the neck. Too tired to process what's happening. And the human warmth felt so welcoming he couldn't help himself to cuddle closer to it.
"Jungkook, I may not know you. I may not see the faces you have come with me from time to time. Even with a voice, I might never have heard before. But-" Taehyung's heart fluttered weirdly when he felt Jungkook's soft mop of hair brushed against his neck. "-I feel you."
Jungkook's sense was clouding. He barely enmeshes anything while inhaling the soft petchior cessation coming from the cosy hold.
A tiny smile on his lips formed when he realised after the day he disclosed his distaste at strong perfumes taehyung had never roamed his hand around that shelf.
Maybe his hooded figure has already drifted into a land of illogical acts where he could say whatever he wanted, he could do as he liked.
Maybe that's why when the next words slipped like whispers into the city of clouds Taehyung's blossoming heart skipped some beats for the boy who might not even remember saying anything.
