I would've loved to be far away. Away from anyone who makes me anxious. Anyone I've ever known. The people in life who pretend they care. The ones who your able to read before they can read yourself. With any attention drawn. Every move care free. Without wondering what the next move will be and what it will bring.

You stretch, feeling your legs glide across your cold white comforter. The sound of your alarm blazing through the room was enough to wake you up fully. You yawned before flipping over and using your hands to push yourself off the bed.Slowly grabbing your phone off your nightstand, you turn off the alarm. It was the last sound you wanted to hear at 7 in the morning.
Considering you went to bed at 2am you were proud for getting up on time. You couldn't believe the fact that you had to do this everyday now.
Groaning, you sat your phone back down. Almost forgetting today was the first day of school. The thought was enough to get you to flop back down on your bed covering your face. You sighed flipping your hair back up slowing making sure to be cautious of your hair.
By now the sun was fully up and you were ready to just get everything over with. You sat up rubbing your eye and using your free hand to pick up your phone.
Okay.. Homeroom. Algebra. You read from the email you were sent of your schedule last week.
Everything should be fine. You quickly stood up grabbing your uniform and heading into the bathroom located next to the small common area you and your roommate set up yesterday.
It was filled with mainly sorts of white and grey furniture. After finishing up in the bathroom you slid on your outfit before taking off your scarf.
Dealing with your hair every morning was something your not gonna do. You took out the pins and curlers and threw them into a bin under the sink.
Standing back up you looked in the mirror making sure nothing was out of place. It was currently 7:40 and you had to be at school in about 30 minutes.
You walked out the bathroom before spotting Pieck in the kitchen, "Hey, do you know where I put my shoes yesterday?" You say.
She seemed to be looking at something on her phone before lifting her head. "Oh, um I think you say them over there." She pointed toward the front door.
"Thanks" you pick up the shoes and sit on the counter beside her.
"Do you have classes today?" You huffed while struggling to put your shoes on. She stares at you for a moment with restless eyes before answering.
"Not today" she says locking her phone. "I only have afternoon classes" she continues. You smile started to question what to say next. You look at her for some sort of sign of emotion.
"Well," you hop off the counter. "I guess I'll see you later" you clasp your hands in effort to mean well.
"Have a good day y/n" she picks her phone back up and walks to her room.
It's a cool day as it was every other day in Trost. Your fingers quickly tap against the side of your skirt, feeling impatient was a regular part of your routine that you'd longed to get rid of.
You take your own phone out out of your pocket checking the time. Grabbing your bag and purse you make sure you aren't forgetting anything then head out the door.
——
You reach into your bag for your phone, pulling it out you saw the time was now 2:01. You sigh now that you finally have a moment to relax. You have one more class to attend before the day is over.
