"Buzz, Buzz" The vibration of my phone had my coworkers staring in disgust; We had a strict no-phone policy. Slowly I pulled my phone out of my pocket, to my surprise it was from an unknown number. Curiosity got the better of me. I answered.

"Leave your work immediately and head towards the coordinates I have provided." A man with a deep, dark, mysterious voice said to me.

"Um, who is this," I hesitantly replied.

"Doesn't matter, Leave now," The man replied.

Without hesitation, I grabbed my things and paced towards the door walking slowly but firmly. With my phone in my hand, I put the coordinates into my GPS app. Confused and utterly intrigued at the same time I asked myself.

"What is this all about?"

I opened the doors to my office building, light from the sun beaming into my eyes blinding me for a split second I raise my left hand covering it. My eyes then adjust to the light, I am quickly reminded of the beauty of my city. I've had such a boring life the past three months I often forget how beautiful my city is.

"That's beside the point dammit; Ezekiel get your act together," I thought to myself.

"I still have no idea who this is, or why I out of all people got this phone call. But I do know it's something serious. I have been given a mission so to speak I need to focus.

"Buzz, Buzz" My phone started vibrating once again. It was Him.

"Yes, hello," I answered calmly.

"How far are you?" the man asked.

"My GPS says about Ten Minutes, Why?"

"No!!!" The man screamed.

"You must come quicker; You are running out of time!" He exclaimed passionately.

"Out of time? What do you mean? I don't even know what I'm doing," I asked confused.

"There is no time to explain. Run quickly you need to hurry," He screamed before hanging up.

Without a second thought, I ran; I ran as fast as I could. Doing whatever this mysterious man told me to do. The wind brushing past my face, my feet lifting off the ground each second, it feels like I'm gliding it feels like I'm back in high school running the 400-meter dash. A huge smile is brought to my face I am having fun.

Checking my phone mid-run I realized I was two minutes away from wherever I was going. My heart started to race, my nerves shook my entire body, my eyes awoke with the realization I could be in some serious shit. I still have no idea who this guy is or what he wants with me.

"Dammit, Ezekiel quit overthinking everything just focus for a damn second," I thought to myself.

I transitioned around the corner into an alleyway, a man in a black and white robe with a hood and a mask that covered his nose and mouth stood before me. I was here.

"Ok, you got me out here what do want?" I calmly asked.

"Ezekiel Barnes, you have been chosen," He stated staring me down.

"Chosen? Chosen for what? What the fuck are you talking about?" I replied.

"Yes chosen for the new world."

"New World what are you talking about man," I asked with caution.

"This is what I'm talking about," The man said reaching out of his robe. He pulled out an orb rich and bright with color. I was completely fascinated.

"You shall now know the truth," He stated.

The Orb began to glow and shine, suddenly a pulse shook the world surrounding me, and everything around me with bright fascinating colors. I turned back to see the cars behind me completely frozen, the birds in the air not fluttering a single wing, the people frozen mid-stride. It is like I have been taken into a new time-space.

"What... what is all this?" I asked the robed man.

"This is the truth, Ezekiel! You must open your eyes before it is too late!" He said to me.

"Open my eyes I've been trying to follow you, but I don't understand. What is this? How do you know my name? What is yours?"

"All of the answers you seek will be answered when you open your eyes, Ezekiel! As for my name, you may call me Dori, a Hebrew name given to me meaning (Period of Time.)"

I slowly start to understand what Dori is talking about. This unique time-space surrounding me, the bright and fascinating colors all around I have been chosen for something greater. Something I would not truly comprehend unless I opened my eyes. My eyes start to glow, an aura starts emitting from me, my mind starts to unlock, all of the questions I've been seeking slowly start becoming answered.

"It Is too late," Dori says to me.

"Too late what are you talking about now! I Understand!" I yell profusely.

"I'm Afraid you are Out of Time." Dori stats saddened and fueled with sorrow.

"Out of Tim.."

My words are cut short my skin starts to crumble and break like glass slowly being shattered, this aura emitting for me essentially becomes the very pigment of my skin. My body starts to ache with pain I've never felt. My mind along with my soul starts to slip away. This is not like death this is something unique and indifferent. I finally understand just as Dori stated I have run out of time.

Ezekiel's body essentially breaks, shattering like a glass window hit with a hammer. The beautiful and unique color of his very soul hovers above his once physical body he has run out of time.

"Oh no," Dori says with pain in his voice.

"We have lost another."

"I must report this at once," Dori says while calling someone.

"Dori," a masked voice says.

"I'm afraid we have lost another," Dori states.

"I see, return at once," The masked voice replies.

"Understood." Dori then vanishes...

"I am still aware, I'm still here don't leave me," I scream.

But to no avail, it seems I have Run Out of Time.
