Chapter 39

Kyle's POV

A month has passed. And today we are going to attend a party for her company for a successful year. Every year they are holding a party for the company, all the employees and board members are invited as they are part of the company who helped it to be successful.

I looked at my reflection in the mirror while Demonise is doing her make up. Seriously? She doesn't need a make up because she's already beautiful, I smiled at her when she looked but she immediately turned her attention to what she's doing and I continued fixing my tie.

I saw her standing up and looking at me then she walked towards me to fix my tie. "You should have tell me to help you."-I kept smiling the whole day, it's not bad right? "I'll call you next time."

She grabbed her phone and purse after fixing my tie.

"Let's go."- She left the room and I followed her.

I opened the car's door for her, I signalled the driver to stay inside and I'll do it instead. When we're both already inside the driver started driving to our location.

The place is not that far, when we arrived on the venue I saw a red carpet and a lot of photographers clicking their cameras to take our photos.

She clung her hands on my arms while going inside. The guard and a woman assisted us inside. It's a big place and the decoration is grand. "There's a lot of people"- I said but Demonise said. " Of course it's a party, is there a party without people?"- This woman is good at sarcasm. All of them are wearing a grand clothes matching the theme of the party, some of them are holding a drinks at most of them are having a conversation maybe talking about business.

A bald man came near us. He even looked at Demonise, he even frown before smiling. "Ms, Black."- He sounded happy but earlier he was like not sure how to approach her.

"Mr. Samaniego."- She knew this bald man. Who is this? He even looked at me like he's asking why I'm with her. What is his problem? "You're with someone, who is he?"- I'm the fiance!

"He's Kyle, my fiance."- That's right, introduce me to everyone hehehe.

" It's nice yo meet you Kyle."- He is asking for a shake hand so I did, I'm not that bad.

"It's nice meeting you too, sir."- He smiled at me. "Just call me uncle, I'm her mother's little brother."- Huh?

"Ah, sure uncle."- Tell that to me first!

They talked a lot and I'm currently sitting doing nothing because Demonise is busy talking with other people. There's an old man, a young man and a woman, I'm not liking how those little bastards touching my wife...... I mean my fiancee. How dare they!

I want to grabbed her waist now but I promised her that I will behave. What's with that laugh? Is she enjoying their little conversation that much? "A pleasant evening ladies and gentlemen."- My attention turned to the person who's talking. "Tonight, we will be having Ms. Black here on stage to give us a speech. Please give her an around of applause."- Everyone's attention are now on stage, everyone is watching Demonise walking on the stage. She's truly beautiful and elegant.

"Good evening everybody. First of all I want to thank you all for being here with this party, I am truly grateful having you all with the success of the company. Without everyone the company will not be this successful. I give you all my sincere gratitude. I hope that you will all continue to support the company to give it more strength to stand. As your boss, I will make sure that all of you will enjoy the work even though working is not really that fun but life should be enjoying every single seconds we have. I know that we are  always doing this party every year and you're always hearing me saying these words to you but I still want all of you to remember how grateful I am that you are all part of my success and the company's success. Thank you everyone!"

" Second, I want to introduce to you everyone my soon to be husband."- My jaw will surely hurt later for smiling this much. It might tear my lips! Dang that woman she never fails to amaze me! I saw her looking at me and she called me on the stage. While walking, I can feel everyone's gaze on me and it's making me nervous. "He proposed to me a month ago."

"This man beside me is Kyle Xenon Theron...... My fiance."- Everyone clapped on us and giving their congratulations to us. I looked at her, this woman is mine. And I'm not willing to let her go no matter what! "Please, everyone enjoy the party!"- And we started going down.

"Hey, don't tell you're going to cry?" I even heard her laugh. This woman likes to tease me. I love this woman and I will love her until our next life. I'll make her happy, I definitely will. "You can stop smiling you know? You'll tear your lips."- I can't stop even if I want, I wont! " I'm happy that's why." If I did not came back from walking out that day then I'm not experiencing this now. I'm glad that I came back, that I chose to forgive her than to be mad at her. I'm relieved that I'm with her and that she's with me and not with other guys.

"Congratulations, nephew."- Her uncle greeted us with a smile. "Thanks uncle."- We both said. The whole party continued, it feels like I'm still dreaming.

God, let us be together even on our death. Let us be together, loving each other. I want a future where I can say that I did a good job loving her and protecting my family. I want to stay beside her for eternity.
