rafe didn't get into the younger girls car, instead he opened the driver door, "get out liv." the boy said calmly. "rafe are you fucking crazy?!" "olivia get out of the car." the girl had tears streaming down her face, "i can drive wherever you want me to and i'll pay for gas, just get out of the car." he then leaned over her and unbuckled her seatbelt, "i'm so sorry rafe." olivia was really crying now, "it's okay, you're alright just let me drive princess." she looked up at him and got out of the car "thank you." she said as she walked to the passenger seat of the car, "where do you wanna go?" the boy asked as olivia buckled up her seatbelt, "swimming." she said as she wiped her tears. "i'm sorry you had to see that." the girl said. rafe has known olivias family his entire life, their dads were good friends, it made sense considering the fact they both treated their eldest kids like shit, olivia's dad only acted like that when he was drunk though.. normally it doesn't get to her but today it did.

rafe pulled up to a popular beach spot with the kooks, today it was empty which was weird because it was three o'clock on a saturday during summer, but neither one of the two were gonna complain about the emptiness. "are you alright?" the older of the two asked as he got out of the girls car, "never better." the younger one said as she wiped her nose of snot and stood up from the car, "you heard about kelce's party tomorrow?" the boy asked as he walked down to the beach with the girl right behind him. "of course i did." the blonde replied with a smile on her face,  "you going?" rafe asked as he stuck out a hand to help the girl walk down a rocky part. "does a bear shit in the woods?" she asked as she grabbed his hand. "i'll take that as a yes," the boy said with a smile on his face,

these two were always close, rafe always trying to flirt ever since they were thirteen.. the thing the girl respected about him was he knew when to stop and just be a good friend, something a lot of boys around the island didn't have.  "ready?" he asked as he took his shirt off, "yep!" she said as she undid the button on her jeans, look up to see the boys abs. she let out a gasp then mashed her hand over her mouth. "what? you like what you see?" the boy said as he danced around the beach trying to make the girl laugh, it worked.. every time he tried to make her laugh, it worked. "come on!" the girl said as she ran as fast as she could towards the water screaming and cheering the boy watched from the beach as the blonde ran her way into the ocean, "yeah!" the girl yelled once she came back up from the water. "are you coming in?" she asked staring at the boy who was just standing on the sand staring, "of course!" he said as he ran into the water.. the blonde now yelling and cheering for him.

after about two hours they were done at the beach and were ready to go home, well.. to the cameron household no way olive was gonna go back to her house after everything that just happened, "time check!" the girl said as she grabbed her phone out of her bag, "four thirty," she said as she put her phone back into her bag. "alright, time to go home." rafe said as he walked to the other side of the car so he could drive. the drive back to tannyhill was short and the girl couldn't help but think about the boy in the drivers seat the whole time, "we're here." the older boy said as he put the car in park. "thanks again for driving rafe." the girl said as she got out of the car, "my pleasure." he said with a wink as he walked towards the front door, "go right to my room i don't want sarah seeing us.." the boy said as he opened the door for the blonde girl, "alright, grab snacks!" the girl said as she snuck upstairs, the boy in the kitchen grabbing some chips for the two of them.

"i'm back." he said as he shut the door to his bedroom the girl laying on his bed like a starfish, "what am i gonna do?" the blonde asked as she sat up from his bed, "well.." the boy said with a smirk on his face as he pulled some vodka out of his closet, "why would you keep that in your closet?" the girl said with a smile on her face, "to hide it." he said as he opened it up and took a sip. "ugh it's strong." the boy said as he passed it on to olivia,

a couple of hours had passed by the time they were both drunk, rafe had taken his shirt off and olivia had put his shirt on. "hey olive," rafe said as he watched the girl dance to the music they were playing, "yeah?" the girl replied. "you're beautiful." he said as he rested his back onto his bed frame, the girl got butterflies but tried her best not to show it. "hey, that was a little bit flirty." she said with a smirk, "i was trying to be flirty." the boy said as he took another sip of vodka. just as rafe was about to add on someone was at the door, "hey guys?" a voice from behind the door asked. "hello?" olivia said as she opened the door to see toppers face, "hey liv." topper said as he pushed the door open, "jesus!" he said as he saw the bottle of almost empty vodka (which was full when they started.) "it's seven o'clock and you've had that much vodka!" topper said in shock as he picked up the bottle, his panic made olivia freak out a little.. was her dad right? was she gonna end up being a pogue? "it wasn't full when we started." rafe lied as he grabbed the bottle from his hands and drank some, "well sarah wants to apologize." topper said as he looked at the mess that was in rafe's closet, "get her in here." the oldest boy said as he took another sip of the toxic drink. "alright." topper said as he walked out of rafe's bedroom, "here." the boy said as he passed it to the blonde. "no, i'm done." the girl said as she plopped down onto the boys bed, "what's wrong?" the boy asked as he sat up from his bed. "nothing i'm just starting to feel sick." she said as fumbled around with her fingers, "come here." rafe said as he put the vodka onto the ground and wrapped his arms around the girl and pulled her up from the end of the bed to the empty spot beside him, "it's okay." he said as he played with her hair. "thank you." she said as she rested her head on the boys chest, she thought about rafe and his spiraling addictions to cocaine and alcohol. "hi guys.." sarah said as she slowly walked into the room, "sarah!" the boy said as he reached his arm down to where the vodka sat, "drink up!" he said with a smirk on his face.

about two hours later sarah and topper were both now drunk and olivia was out of the slump she was in earlier and was now dancing and singing with the younger girl, "do you like her?" topper asked the older boy. rafe looked at her with a smirk on his face, "i mean i don't know i think she's pretty.." he said as he looked back to his friend topper, "we all do rafe, i'm asking if you like her." the younger boy demanded, "no man, you know me, i don't fall in love." the older boy replied just as sarah walked over to the two of them who were sitting on rafe's bed, "topper i'm tired." she said as she grabbed his hand, "okay, let's go to bed." the youngest boy said as he stood up from his friends bed. "night guys!" topper said as sarah pulled him out of the room, "boy is about to get some." olivia joked as she laid back down onto the boys bed, "what are you doing." the boy asked with a smirk on his face. "nothing?" the girl said in a confused voice, "what?" she asked as she sat up from his bed.. now seeing the smirk on his face, "what are we doing?" he asked. "drinking?" she replied as she gave him a smirk back, "no, i mean yes we are but i mean you and me.. what are we doing?" he asked as he looked at the girls lips then back up to her eyes, "we are friends." she said as she crawled toward rafe, "why?" she asked with a smile looking down at his lips. "oh yeah, friends." he said with a scoff, "best friends?" she asked. "whatever you want olive," the older boy said as he scooted towards the girl now their faces were just a few inches from eachother and the tips of their fingers were touching. "can i kiss you?" the boy asked as he stared at her lips, "what?" she replied. "don't act like you didn't hear me." the boy said as he rested his hand on the girls jawline, fingers just behind her ear and leaned in to kiss her. the girl kissed back with a passionate force, they had both had their first kiss and plenty of other kisses along the way but this was the most memorable of them all. he pulled his lips away from the girls and tucked her hair behind her ear and then went back to kiss her some more.. "wait!"
