George woke up the next day with a pounding headache and sore limbs. He noticed that Quackity was still passed out in the bed next to him, and it was unlikely that he would wake up anytime soon. At least they made it back to his apartment last night, he thought as he trudged into the kitchen.

George settled on making coffee and toasting a bagel for himself, finding it unlikely that his stomach could hold much else. He sat down at the island and scrolled through his phone as he ate, finally checking his messages from Karl. He had texted him, telling him that he would be showing up at his apartment at 11 with coffee and a shit load of papers. That meant that George had approximately 10 minutes until his arrival.

George went back into the bedroom and shook Quackity awake, the dark haired boy grumbling as he slowly sat up.

"What the fuck man?"

"Sorry, but Karl will be here soon and I figured you'd want to be somewhat presentable for his arrival," George said with a smirk.

Quackity glared back at him, but the blush on his face said it all. George loved to tease him about his crush on Karl, and it was even funnier because Karl was completely clueless about it.

"Fuck you," Quackity said, but he still got out of bed and went into the bathroom.

George brushed his teeth and changed out of his clothes from last night, and by the time he was done Karl was knocking on the door. He didn't miss how Quackity tried to casually sit on the couch as he went over to let Karl in.

"Hey George! You look horrible!" Karl said with a chuckle in greeting as he pushed past George and into the apartment.

"Hey!" George called after him in protest. For being extremely hungover he didn't think he looked that bad. The pain pills had helped a lot.

"Oh hey Quackity." Karl said as he sat down on the couch, spreading the papers he carried in out on the coffee table.

"Morning Karl." Quackity said, trying to be nonchalant. He was allowed to be at all of George's meetings just because George refused to kick him out most of the time.

George took the coffee Karl brought as he sat down gratefully, and tried to pay attention as Karl started to go through all of the paperwork. There were a shitload of NDA's and regulations that were deemed necessary by both parties. He tried to listen but couldn't help but to zone out every so often.

"... George?" He heard Karl speaking and he snapped back into reality.

"What?"

"Do you know what I just said?"

"Umm.. no," George admitted sheepishly.

"Well you're in luck that I'm that greatest manager ever and I will summarize it for you now." Karl said dramatically.

George rolled his eyes at his manager's ego, but nodded for him to continue nonetheless.

"Okay. There will be a six month trial period, after that we will go from there after we see how it goes. You have to be seen in public together five times a month, but that includes events and things so don't worry too much. You will also have to post pictures together occasionally. We've tentatively scheduled your first public appearance together for three days from now, but today you will both meet to get to know each other at least."

"Do I really have to be with him that often? I mean we're both busy people right?"

"Yeah, sorry. You're kind of contractually obliged now that you've signed all of these."

George groaned into his hands at the thought of spending so much time with the bland model. The thought made him sick to his stomach, and Quackity snickering at him in the background didn't help much.
